Well then The straight servicemen need to claim sexual harassment at every sideways glance or unseemly overt act that these deviants that are going to be so proudly displaying of their sexuality that type of response will send them all running right back in the closet. Time for Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, and Airmen, to begin the vote with their feet. Meaning when EAOS arrives go home. Openly gays in the ranks doesn't work. For one thing they can't control themselves. For another they are not wanted despite all the hype. Especially on ships where berthing quarters are real crowded. Congress may have the Constitutional authority to regulate the military but they have no right to destroy it or lower morale and morality to a dangerous level.

Since Inauguration day 1989 there has been an ongoing and deliberate effort from every POTUS and most members of both houses to demoralize and destroy our military. The next time our so called leaders want a military response to a conflict Draft only Gays and then put Barney Frank as their Field Commander.

As a two branch of services Vet I would discourage anyone at this point from joining the United States Armed Forces. I could not in good conscience encourage someone to enlist under current terms or our national leadership.

On reflection, this does not really surprise me but it is one of the saddest days in my memory.

The country has become Politically Correct with diversity and affirmative action ruling the day.

I am one of those older conservatives who has witnessed a decline in our morals and honesty.

There was a time when Hollywood was run by conservatives and movies like the Greatest Story Ever Told were made and “shown” on television.

There was a day when our children, myself included, conducted a daily, morning prayer in school.

There was a day when Generals like George Patton were revered and honored.

Now, I’m told the old ways of family, God, Chivalry and manhood are relics of the past.

I’m afraid the once great U.S. military has become a home to political correctness, affirmative action and weakness.
