Both juicy targets for aspiring jihadists. My guesses would be a school à la Beslan, or a series of simultaneous rail attacks against cargo and passenger trains.
Much ado about nothing. Which is the tagline for TSA.
It probably just contains body parts.
Package was a computer monitor that did not make a flight.
Someone did not place it on the belt to be loaded on a plane.
Hopefully it finally gets to its owner.
You gotta problem with "oy?"
Just as with bomb threats anywhere, the more publicity they get, the more likely copycats with call in threats. I always thought it best not to broadcast every single incident.
Like Christmas shoppers, Al Qaida seems to be waiting till the last minute for their Christmas Bombings.
So is this a Dora or Spongebob “suspicious package”? Or is it a box of tampons (ie WMD)?
Al Gore trying to relive his Rolling Stone cover pic?
or this photo with Obama on a girl’s bike

Can you guys keep me pinged on this? I have to take a shower.
Yawn.
Actually, the TSA would continue to have these Chinese firedrills if there were no terrorists. The toothpaste is out of the tube. The TSA is a self-sustaining government work program for people who couldn’t get a job as mall cops. They do what government make-work programs do best: harass people who are on the move and rob them of their time and money.
I flew out of terminal A a week or so ago. I’ve never removed my Kindle in the 1-1/2 years I have had it and I travel every few weeks. The TSA agrent gave me a hard time about it. Took it and insisted on running it through again by itself. Told me Kindle’s were a hot commodity for terrorists. I don’t think she liked me laughing at her but I couldn’t help it...dumb a&%.
Lunatics-running-asylum bump.
Not at all. I thought since you inadvertently posted twice, the "oy. Again oy" was appropriate.
Maybe she meant a hot commodity for thieves.
The Israelis of course have methods of limiting bomb scares to a small area with bombproof enclosures. No need to close the whole terminal except due to incompetence.
