What a two-faced hypocrite.
You're flat out wrong. He spoke out against the repeal but now that DADT has been repealed he has no choice but to obey the law.
I guarantee he's still against queers serving in the military.

"Yeah, I cant even think of the last official (civilian or military) to resign on principle." There was a tide of us with less than 20 years who resigned on principle under the Clinton Administration. We were dubbed the "Quitting Captains."

I realize the president’s signature on this one is a foregone conclusion, but, isn’t that the day he should issue this statement?

Unless they are prepared to sacrifice for their troops, then all of their tough talk is nothing more than political rhetoric.

Ignore what you want to.
But answer me this, do you - like Gen. Amos - support the infestation of fags in the Military?
Why not share your thoughts on this forum?

There is a Marine Corps legend that says ,Inside the Gold orb atop the flag staff on the USMC Memorial In DC,is a pistol with one bullet and a pack of matches.
The matches is for the last Marine standing to burn the flag so it does not fall into enemy hands,
the bullet is for him for the same reason.
I recon it might be time to start shimmying up the pole ...

So he’s going to stick around for the tranformation of the USMC into the Gay Marine Corps?

Bottom line, the civilians running the military have spoken. Their word is about to become law. The CMC has saluted, said, "Yes, sir," and will carry out his orders.
You may not LIKE the orders you get, but they are lawful ones.

“Amos is a very sick individual. And should not be in the miltary.”
Gen Amos has no choice in this matter unless he were to resign in protest. He took an oath to carry out orders.Knee jerk reactions do occur but I would advise doing some military research before degrading a United States Marine.

Don't know if or when you went through PI, but in '66 we were taught to save one bullet for ... the end.

It does not sound like he supports the repeal. It sounds like he will do his duty, regardless of his opposition.
How do you know he will not implement this policy in a way that causes Congress to see the err of their ways? Imagine if he leads the way in refining the changes of the UMCJ in such a way that it shows the fallacy of having gays and straights bunking and showering together.
If openly gays are getting ejected for sexual harassment, maybe they will find that DADT was actually better for them and they will self-impose it.
To: littleharbour
I agree with you. Sadly, this is a Marine. Sadder still.
My respect for Marine officers of the upper ranks just did a nose dive.

I asked if you support fags in the Military. You replied that it’s the “law of the land”.
So. You support the repeal of DADT.
Nice to know.

This guy should have resigned and encouraged everyone of his troops to do likewise. That's a great idea but why stop with Marines? Everyone who works for a company, any company, that has enacted anti-discrimination policies to include sexual orientation should also quit their jobs in solidarity.

FU Gen. James Amos. If you’re sincerely agreeing to forward the homo agenda, please shove an M4 down your throat and pull the trigger.
