High school punishes kids for wearing Christmas sweaters (Bah! Humbug!)

I think the ironic celebration of the holidays in the form of gaudy Christmas sweaters is kind of lame. But one Virginia high school’s punishment of a group that called themselves the “Christmas Sweater Club” just seems ridiculous, even by oversensitive public school standards.

Ten students at Battlefield High School in Manassas, Virginia faced detention and other punishment as a result of their involvement in the Christmas Sweater Club.

One of the students involved told WUSA that the school said they were “maliciously wounding other kids.”

The Club believes that the accusation stems from them throwing candy canes to other students at the halls.

Another club member told WUSA that an administrator told him that “the candy canes could be used as weapons by sucking on them and making them have sharp points.” The student said that no one had done that [ED. NOTE: Presumably because this isn't "OZ" and most high school aged kids tend not to need to shiv someone in the cafeteria].

When reached for comment, school principal Amy Etheridge-Conti said they did more than hand out candy and cheer, but she refused to comment specifically on the matter.

So in summary, no one involved seems to know what they did wrong. And it couldn’t be THAT serious, i.e. they didn’t viciously sodomize freshman boys in the locker room while wearing Christmas sweaters, since they only got detention and clean-up duty. Unless sodomizing freshman boys is so common at this high school that it’s now a slap on the wrist punishment. Hmm. What’s your deal, Battlefield High School?

Don’t forget to bring a big box or two of candy canes. Maybe some starlight mints as well.

In our communities, where our voices count, we need to do everything we can to defund the public schools. They have become a menace to our way of life.

I suspect this administrator will not be doing any community service on Friday morning. I wonder if this disturbed bastard realizes how many Kiwanis Clubs, Knights of Columbus, Marines, Masons, Rotarians will be “spreading cheer” to those less fortunate. He or she should try it sometime. Before they end up killing themselves.

If you criminalize candy canes and sweaters, then only criminals will have candy canes and sweaters...

Using the tactics advocated by Charleton Heston which he learned in the civil rights era, every student should show up in Christmas sweaters. Refuse to obey any orders having to do with the sweaters. Sit down in the entry way to the school. They hate sunshine on their depraved bullying,,,, if they start arresting you for petty misdemeanors, great! Another free chance for sunshine in court. With enough participation,,,, they will shrink away. This principal is already in over her head. She never expected to answer calls from around the nation. She was only trying to throw her weight around with kids in the hall. More pressure,,, she’ll fold.

How about they celebrate take a maching gun to school day and take out anyone who disapproves! Seriously, this has to stop. Anyone standing for election to any school board which promulgates this type nonsense must be removed during the next available election.

Hopefully that works because the populace is getting POed over our elected officials continuing to refuse to listen to the voters. There are two avenues open when that continues. One is to recast the Constitution. Where is the vote now for a constitutional convention? Must be close, last I heard it was 33 or so states in favor. Once we get to 37, game on. Not a better time than now with the turn over of most state legislatures to GOP this past election. If that fails, well, you know the drill and it ain’t pretty.

The government, acting through school administrations, hates this country and its traditions, and is trying to turn this country into a secular materialistic socialist jihadi-friendly hell.

Never mind the Christmas sweaters, time to break out the artillery...Everyone wear Jesus sweaters.

Screw the schools. Show them the words:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

And ask them, "Do you or do you not abide by the US Constitution?"

If these students showed up in religious Islamic garb, no one would have said a word.

In fact, the school would have excused them from class for ‘prayer time’ and would have given them korans and a private prayer room. The same with Hispanic or Black garb.

Make no mistake about it. PC crap is NOT anti religious, they are specifically anti White Christian and anti- semitic.

It is a virulent form of anti Americanism which focuses on anything that is traditionally American.

Remember, as Obama stated so clearly, their goal is to “fundamentally change America” and that is what it is always about.

“maliciously wounding other kids.”

Where is the concern for the epidimic of real physical violence that have hit public schools over the past year or so?

“Education majors are the dumbest of the dumb. Perhaps.”

I don’t think there’s any “perhaps” necessary. I’d rather have the school janitors and lunchladies running the schools at this point. At least we know they have some kind of actual proficiency at something.
