Potential GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee says Sarah Palin’s wrong and Michelle Obama’s right, at least when it comes to the first lady’s push to combat childhood obesity.

“With all due respect to my colleague and friend Sarah Palin, I think she's misunderstood what Michelle Obama is trying to do,” the former Arkansas governor said Tuesday on the “Curtis Sliwa Show.”

“Bush concluded his speech by pointing out that his outspoken opposition to the controversial SB 1070 laws should be proof positive that he does not intend on running for president in 2012—a rumor his parents had already attempted to dispel, but that his brother and other conservatives have been pushing for.”

Sounds like Huckabee just screwed the pooch in the race for the nomination.

Maybe Sarah could lend Huck one of her gonads so he could have one too.

Merry Christmas

Huckybeast sucks mung. If he thinks siding with the First Wookie is going to aid his chances of winning in a primary against Palin, I invite him to continue doing so whenever the urge overtakes what should be his better judgement.

The guy is a mouth-breather if he thinks this is a shrewd move.

Remember these names; Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39, and Officers Ronald Owens, 37, Tina Griswold, 40, and Greg Richards, 42.

Huckabee cannot ever be president.

I remember those four officers who were murdered by a man that Huckabee pardoned.

I think about them every time I see something about Huckabee.

I wonder how the families of these officers are doing this holiday season without their fathers, brothers and sons.

I wonder if Huckabee every thinks about the officers or their families.

You're right. Huckabee cannot ever be President.

Huckabee needs to go away.

His TV show seems more a pay off than anything substantive.

it’s spending 4.5 billion of the taxpayers hard earned money on a federal program that has no business being involved in local school districts in the first place.”

Someone on another thread did the math & said that this program of NObama spending would amount to 6 CENTS more for every meal that is served in the schools.

I cannot in any way shape or form use only 6 CENTS to switch from canned or frozen veggies & fruits to fresh.

I cook the main meal about once a month for a horse riding club when they are competing. I have made sliced ham—turkey—chili-spagetti-baked potatoe bar-chicken thighs—Polish sausages /hot dogs-—lots of different things. The rest of the group brings pot luck to fill out the meal.

I have served as high as 80 riders/crew at a single event. 6 Cents would not change things over to fresh items.

I often make a layered fresh salad for my own contribution to the pot luck. I make it in a large metal bowl. Lettuce-shredded cheese- sliced hard boiled eggs—tomatoes—cucumbers-green bell pepper-red bell pepper-gold bell pepper- yellow bell pepper-red onions—long stem green onions-—frozen corn kernals-—frozen green peas—broccoli—celery—carrots—& whtever else I can find in season.

I have kept track 3 times of all those ingredients to layer into that large bowl. It costs a tick under $30 just for tht one salad. Not even counting the dressing, as that is separate. If everyone takes a fair helping it will work for about 45-50 people and even less if everybody is hungry and really diving into that bowl.

This entire issue is about control——not about being able to serve any fresh ingredients to any kids.

Yes- & Sarah has had-—what?-— 5 kids???

Huckster cannot even blame his size on ‘pregnancy weight’ he hasn’t shed yet.

She’s stating the obvious, that we do have an obesity problem in this country.”

Baloney! Obesity is the same as poverty. Overstated in order to make it an issue which requires government intervention.

Huckabee, Romney, and McCain are all polishing their mushy credentials at a time when we are clammoring for a strong conservative. Good luck with that, Mike.

there used to be a place in Amarillo, Texas that would give you the whole dinner for free if you could eat it & it included everythign plus a 64 ounce steak.

I knew a few drag racers that could do it.

If that place is still open, I can see them turning out the lights & putting up the closed sign if this group came in.

Do they need extra suspension add ons for their cars? What about their mattresses??
