As a fellow Buckeye and huge fan, i hope to God that Tressel boots this punk in the a$$ and shows him the door. This kid’s brain has been so frigged up by the ghetto mentality that even a straight shooter like Tressel has had a helluva time getting thru to Pryor. I hope he declares. He coulda been a contender, but his true nature has wiped any chance for a Heisman.

Yep, Maurice rings a bell. But glad you acknowledged plenty of California muck-ups.

I wouldn’t be surprised at we could see three of the five players suspended all leaving for the NFL draft this coming spring.

Whatever. Petrino suspended 3 Razorbacks before last year’s bowl game because they simply missed curfew. Also, Google 1978 Orange Bowl. Holtz suspended half his offense, but they still killed the Sooners in one of the biggest bowl upsets ever.

Ohio State football and Terrelle Pryor are the latest to find the "Seinfeld Defense" works with the NCAA

Anyone know why the Feebies raided the tattoo parlor?

FWIW, I think the real interesting aspect of all this is the involvement of the FBI.

I’m a huge Buckeye fan, and NO, they haven’t always cheated. The word always suggests its normal practice, and that just isn’t true. Good grief, some of you are ignorant.

I won’t be watching the BCSCG because of all the CORRUPTION with the NCAA.

If the NCAA thinks we believe Cam Newton didn’t know he was being shopped, I’ve got some ocean-front property in auburn, AL I would like to sell them.

Sure, why not take cam’s word? He has only proven to be a liar, cheat (about to be expelled from UF after getting caught 3 times), and a thief (he stole the laptop).

I am so sick of the CORRUPTION in college sports that I am tuning out.

The ncaa also thinks they can just make up rules as they go along.

The ncaa is also very selective in their enforcement. Consider the following:

- former auburn head coach, Terry Bowden, met with reporters before he left auburn. He told them everything about the cheating that was going on there and how they paid for players.

Did the NCAA investigate? NO!!!

- auburn kept players eligible in 2004 by directing them to “direct reading” classes that required NO WORK. They got “A”s to keep the eligible. They also had players enroll in these fraud courses 11 weeks into the semester. No other students could do that. They also plug their low IQed players into their sociology program just to keep the illiterate idiots eligible. This was all reported the NYT.

Did the NCAA do anything? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

- The New York Times did a story on auburn using rev. Chette Williams to do special favors for auburn players. In fact, the story involved $MONEY$ AND $PLAYERS$.

Did the NCAA do anything about this CORRUPTION? NO!!!!!!!!

- Anyone that believes Cam didn’t know his father was shopping him is a complete idiot. In fact, Cam newton told Mississippi State’s Coach Mullen’s wife that he was going to auburn because “The money was just too good.”

Did the ncaa take action? NO!!!!!!! I don’t believe they even interview Coach Mullen’s wife.

I grew up loving college football. These idiots with the NCAA are destroying it. More and more of my family and friends are saying they’re sick of it too.

I will be tuning out. At least the NFL is open about their players taking money.

The NCAA is arbitrary in their enforcement. They’re corrupt and they need to lose their non-profit status because they don’t deserve it.

Hammer meets nail.

As a PSU alum, I't tired of going up against professional teams when I know that Joe is putting an amateur team out there. People wonder why it matters.

It matters plenty. It matters that kids at some other school don't have to go to class.

It matters that 70 IQ kids get into schools to run or catch or tackle.

It matters that too many schools put the athlete in front of the student. It should be student-athlete, not the reverse.

Sorry Buckeyes, but you are one of those schools. Maurice Clarett played in 4 games before attending skipping a class at OSU.

Having lived with a PSU player (who later played 12 years in the NFL), I can attest to having to drive him to mandatory study hall 3 nights a week. He didn't have a car. He wasn't a rocket scientist, but he did what he was told to do even though he was 6'6" and 275 lbs. Joe Paterno scared the living daylights out of him. Joe threatened to strip his captainship from him for a few incidents and a few missed classes. He's now the offensive line coach for the Jags.

It isn't even about the diploma. That is just a piece of paper (though a very important one). It is about accomplishment and learning and making the absolute most of the wonderful situation you've landed yourself in.

Those that aren't in the top 1% athletically and don't take advantage of what has literally been handed to them are the ones that wind up sitting on a milk crate smoking crack.

The fact that coaches pimp these kids out to win games and justify their enormous salaries sickens me. The entire SEC (sans Vandy) is an absolute cess pool of corruption and everyone knows it.

There needs to be an NFL minor league (be it the CFL, or whatever) where these kids can go and play football for money. Those that want to go to school, and join fraternities, and be a regular student can continue on within the NCAA. Until this happens, we will have stories like this over and over again.
