Our local Republican Executive Committee had officer elections just a couple of weeks ago, and a couple of very respectable Tea Party members attempted to unseat the established officers, and were defeated by a very wide margin.
That's shaken my confidence in the ultimate effectiveness of the Tea Party. And it's not because the rank-and-file are so strong, but because the Tea Party doesn't seem to have the gumption to do more than make noise.
Totally missed the point ding dong.
Enlighten me.
Not only is this a war it is a direct assault on our constitution and way of life.
Rudy Ridge - Vicki Weaver shot and killed while holding her baby by fed snipers.
Waco - 80 men, woman and children murdered by Janet Reno's hand....never charged with a crime.
Elian Gonzales - forcibly removed from a free country and placed in the hands of Castro's communist thugs.
Uncle Sugar's use of IRS intimidation of citizens that hold dissenting views. Example: Scores of folks that came under IRS audits after coming out against ol Billy Boy. Jaunita Broadrick, Paula Jones, Jennifer Flowers, Liz Gracen...and more.
Scores of American citizens missing along the Mexican border due to inaction of federal border security.
Thousands of American citizens killed and or injured due to illegal Mexican drug / human traffic gangs within our country.
American citizens jailed and harassed attempting to bolster border security. Vigilantes they are labeled by the FG.
LDS temple raid in which 126 children were removed by force. Sniper nest, armored vehicles and the like used in the raid. The LDS group were not armed and did not resist. The courts ordered the feds overstepped and the children were returned.
National guard troops ordered to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens. Citizens held at gun point and lil ol lady roughed up for protecting her own home.
The list goes on....shall I continue.
When I say, Civil, Civil War, I am referring to the covert war being waged on the sovereignty, culture and soul of this country.
Been to a gun show lately? I'm thinking the American public is in no mood to sit around the campfire with Uncle Sugar and sing Christmas carols.
One side murdering a few select noncombatants to keep the other side in line is oppression, not war.
And it’s sure not civil.
When we face up to the fact that there are are some of our fellow citizens who are in fact our mortal enemies, and we begin to refer to them as such, then we'll be on the path to saving America.
Well done, Laz.
I know where your going now. I agree with you.
Just so. But there'll be a day, very soon, I believe, that the federal death squad members will return to their homes after their victory celebrations and filing of their per diem payment paperwork, to find some of those homes burned to the ground, and their own family members inside the burned-out husks, or hanging from utility poles outside.
I'm certainly not in favor of it- nor particularly against it. But we'll either go the way of Finland in 1918 or that of Rhodesia in 1979.
