How will a prison tower prevent shoplifting? Hm?

I never find anything good to get wound up about.

One of the drawbacks of living in the country I guess. *sigh*

We’ll always have “tacamars”. LOL

It doesn’t shock me that this would be in North Carolina. It’s a complete police state here.We jokingly call it “Police State, Rise of FEMA”. I live in a small town and police are everywhere (marked and unmarked) laying in wait looking for milk cows to pull over. I was driving down a country road the other day and a cop and his partner were pulled over on a side street. They were out of the car and the bigger cop had his radar gun pointing at the cars driving by. He was postured as though he was holding a real gun. I had never seen anything like it. When I told my husband he said he had the same thing happen to him the other day in the school zone up the road. Revenue collectors. Meanwhile, drug dealers and gangs run rampant. Needless to say, I can’t wait to get the hell out of here.

No problem, if they nail the shoplifters, car clouters, muggers, armed robbers, dope peddlers, rapists, kidnappers, and child molesters.

Big problem if they can only see parking, bike helmet, and seat belt "violations".

Unfortunately there is no power that government has not, and will not abuse.

They were having TV’s DVD players, Arm fulls of clothes lifted. An outside video camera would have shown the perps and vehicles.

Do the businesses pay for these towers? I believe so.

I know that in Dallas you can rent a “police car” to sit in your neighborhood. An off-duty cop and a police computer in a squad car is extra of course.

We’ve had these for around 6 or 7 years in my area. They come out whenever there are bigger than normal crowds such as during holiday shopping. It helps the cops spot the bad guys hanging around in the mall parking lot.

That would be great but that’s not the Dems and Rinos plan.

Oh good grief! My husband built one of these years ago into the bed of his p/u truck for a deer hunting device. His nephews expanded his idea it into a small business, building them onto trailers that can be hauled into the pasture and left for hunting. They live in Ft Worth and I don’t know if the business has been expanded into security or not, I know that it was discussed.

My stepsister manages a Walmart here in Michigan. She says they’ve had times when better than a half million dollars in merchandise was stolen within a month.

The had a policy of looking the other way if it was under $100 but that only made things worse. Now they prosecute pretty much everybody they catch stealing.

My friends and I have rented off-duty cops as drivers with their marked cars for events where the streets get jammed, like Mardi Gras. Much better than a limo for getting around town in a hurry. We also have used them for neighborhood parties.

Considering it is a Wal-Mart I’m not overly concerned. They have cameras everywhere including their parking lots.

Might catch a mullet or femullet...

Drip, drip, drip. Perhaps they could get better use at the border.

I saw one of those mobile towers set up in a strip
mall parking lot in Mira Mesa at Black Mountain
Road and Mira Mesa Blvd last week, It was a “what the
Hell” moment. It was deployed and apparently
to a “dually” style pickup. Painted white with dark
tinted windows.

So... I wonder how much WALMART would sell these GUARD TOWERS to the U.S. for?

We could place them all along the border, and build walls made out of that toxic wall board (also purchased from Walmart) between the TOWERS.

Since it’s my idea, I want a 1% commission fee from the sales.

Wish we had them here in our Walmarts. We have 2 supercenters in our town. Things have got so bad that either my wife or I always stay with the pick-up whenever we shop. That being said I can see the potential for abuse.

***A fella could have a real good time with a grappling hook and a 4 wheel drive truck...****

Oh I just had a flash back to the movie HURCULES UNCHAINED!

Wish I had a photo of him toppling the scaling towers!
