How Daddy & Mommy Stopped the Communist Takeover of These United States
the Ghosts of the Founding Fathers | 12/25/10 | vanity

Dear FReepers & Patriots,

Merry Christmas Everyone, Its now past time we acted with the only bloodless and violence free form of protest we can't afford to undertake.

I suggest you follow the lead of the patriotic Founders and refuse to voluntarily pay taxes of any sort.

Starving the Beast of financial wherewithall of runaway Federal spending is the only possible way to stop the Obama Regime dead in its tracks

Wait a minute. Everything is doing great. The MSM told me so.
Stock market back.
Best Christmas shopping ever.
Gas prices aren't affecting anything as people are driving more, and buying new cars.
Heating oil high but not affecting anything.
People have money and are spending it like crazy.
The unemployed are happy as they have money to burn, and just got another year of free money. . . . . .

Merry Christmas!

I’ve stopped trying to convince other folks to grow a pair and stop paying taxes whenever possible. Most people just don’t have the fortitude to go beyond keyboard freedom fighting.

Spend less.Buy only essential items.Don't buy Hollwood's videos. Don't buy a new vehicle. If you need one, purchase a used one. Don't fall for the "environmentalist" crap.

What you are recommending is called an "Economic Boycott". Such an action is even more effective than just withholding your tax payments. When enough people boycott buying, the economy slows not just the government. People are put out of work which is one way to reduce the payroll taxes they would have paid. States and cities do not get their expected revenue from sales and property taxes and states have to cut back on their hidden welfare payments.

An economic boycott is very effective if people join.

I suspect there has been an economic boycott going on in Amerika since THE ONE was elected.

Thats a mistake.. They can just "PRINT" money to run the State...
You know... like they are currently doing..

AND..... have done for decades..

The ONLY way to do what you're suggesting is for an entire State to succeed..
BUT NOT actually succeed but to metaphorically succeed..
Succeed by limiting access to the State to and from by anything federal including federal employees, mail, phone, internet, travel, treat the fed like the enemy it is....

Passive resistence.. the federal government being the "enemy".. All federal law held up in the court for review...
FORCE them to perform martial law.. if they can..
Because IF they can you were not a State... but a Province like in Canada anyway..
Being then..... a State was a mental delusion..

At least this would provide opportunity for all the States to decide if they were an ACTUAL State or a Province of the central government..
Which they have been for many decades..
But that would take some brass balls to do..
Is YOUR State up to it, to become the Judas Goat, the Canary?..

I think it’s been an unintended boycott, people are holding on to their cash because they’re in survival mode. I know I am, I need 2 new vehicles to replace mine and Mrs Reardon’s but there’s no way I’m going to take on that kind of debt until we get some leaders who don’t hate capitalism

“The ONLY way to do what you’re suggesting is for an entire State to succeed.”

Or better yet just stop sending in the Alchohol, Tobacco and Gasoline tax. 10-12 states doing that will bring the Feds to a standstill in a week or two. No seccession required. Just put the financial squeeze on them and listen to the screaming.

If you want to make the Progressives squeal just withold money. Without other people’s money to spend they are powerless.

Merry Freepin Christmas to all.

My sentiments exactly. They lack the fortitude, character, red blood cells, whatever one calls it. How many are doing anything at all about the state of our country, after they get up from the keyboard?

I have gone Galt. It isn't difficult. You just have to love your country more than you love your convenience. Think of the Founding Fathers, of the sacrifices they made, and start doing more than typing out pious, righteous whining on the internet.

Spoiled, wastrel heirs of liberty, denouncing someone else's unearned entitlements; and at the same time they are slavish, contemptuous of slaves who work a little less. America is over; else the fighting would have started by now.

How can anyone “stop paying taxes” when they take the money out of your paycheck before you ever see it? So long as we allow the government to withhold from our pay, no tax protest will ever be effective.

Let’s see if our new Tea Party stalwarts in the Congress have the stones to end withholding.

At the end of the year, we’ll just tally up what we owe then we’ll pay our federal taxes. They trust us, don’t they?

Cash for Clunkers took a lot of those cheap used cars out of the market.

What we need to do is:

Keep voting the progressives & rinos out of office every single election. We have to keep cleaning them out. We even need to remove the good ones after a couple of terms otherwise they start to spoil too.

There are many freedom fighters out there that are carving out a little liberty for themselves and their families by doing exactly what we are talking about. If no one knows about you, they can’t be made to talk, so keep it on the down low and let the sheep fall where they may.

If you haven’t already read this you may want to get a copy:
