Can Big Sis make it through an entire friendly interview without saying something notably stupid?

Who’s going to be the hero to watch and report on Obama’s duplicitous brain on Meet the Press?

And Merry Extended Christmas for all, awaiting a blizzard up here!

STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Looks like an Infomercial on how much safer we are after that treaty...

NBC’s Meet the Press Another Infomercial on same, this could generate interest because what would they talk about? Evil Republicans? No, they’ve been too accommodating...

Yes, great work on that treaty. Hillary must be living a dream, going successfully from working on Watergate straight to dodging sniper fire on that airfield in Bosnia straight to negotiating a nuclear weapons treaty with the Soviet Union...

Expect, of course, that the Soviet Union does not exist, just a tired old Russia that can't afford to maintain the nuclear arsenal it has. Apparently nobody took notes in the '80's, when President Reagan let the Soviets convince themselves of that.

What we should bave negotiated is a weapons treaty with Chine, where every war-head we dismantle means that the Chinese forgive (oh say) $10,000,000,000 in debt. That might have accomplished something with a problem we actually have. But why expect that from this group inside the Beltway?

Good Morning AB, All....

....got my days all mixed up, totally forgot this was Talk Show Sunday.

Hope you all had a good Christmas and Happy New Years to those I might not see next week.

As I type the snow falls here in the swamps.

Daughter, son-in-law and Kaitlyn spent night here last night. They come down here in the swamps for Christmas, we celebrate, open gifts, that kind of thing. They are from Baltimore, maybe a 2.5 drive. The other grandmother, Kaitlyn’s second favorite grandmother, lives about 45 minutes from me. So plan was today that they go down there this morning.

Only calling for foot of snow here and they have to decide, now, before snow accumulates, to start driving up back to Baltimore. OR go ahead down to mother-in-law and definitely get snowed in down there. THEY are expecting around 12 people and they would all get snowed in. And they live in only a little mobile home thing.

OR daughter, son-in-law and Kaitlyn could stay HERE, God rest my heart for they are welcome but we’re talking a couple of days HERE, at least another full day, part of tomorrow.

But what a hoot. We’re getting all this snow on the coast...

Anyway, I’ll be joining in as I think they are going to drive down to other grandmother’s and are prepared to spent night there. Hoping they can get home TOMORROW, as they have a little piece of crap car with four bald tires.

Well good luck to you!

I just went and put the dogs out, and it is snowing here!

Why is this exciting to me?

Well, I’m in Southeastern Alabama, where we don’t get much snow at all; maybe every five years or so.

However, thanks to algore’s Global Warming, er, I mean Climate Change, we had snow in 2008, two snow storms last year, and here we’re having another one again!

The clueless, emotionally verbose ersatz conservative Peggy Noonan provides the “Right of Center” comedy relief on MTP.

The Leftist media sure know how to pick their maladroit “conservative” tokens don't they?

This is the first time we (SC) got snow (it's still falling)on this date since 1924.

We gotta pass crap and tax fast or Global Warming will freeze us all the way down to Key West.

FNS

Wallace worries about government programs having to be cut for there to be any noticeable reduction in government spending.

==

True. But a start would be to cut the programs that are duplicates. Coburn references this as I am typing. [Great minds. lol]

Reminded of The Sound of Silence by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel...”And the sign said, the words of the prophets Are written on the subway walls And tenement halls. And whispered in the sounds of silence.” But don’t expect Gregory to read between the lines.
