When a career cop on the verge of retirement crossed paths with a paroled thug aiming to restart his criminal career at Kohl’s jewelry counter Sunday night in Woburn, it ended with splatters of blood, scattered diamonds and two men dead in the wind-driven snow.

It was the first and last time in 34 years of public service that Woburn police officer John “Jack” Maguire, 60, a married father, had fired his gun on the job. He planned to retire in October.

A three life sentence parolee kills a cop.

The getaway driver is held on $1000 (Yes, ONE THOUSAND dollars) bail.

Yep. It's Massachusetts, all right.

Three consecutive life terms, or even life without the possibility of parole, mean not a thing in some places.

Massachusetts is one of those places.

Usually they show us the courtesy of going to some other state.

The people who run this state are just slightly less worse than the homicidal sociopaths they unleash on their mostly unarmed peasantry; because they have not yet been indicted for negligent homicide. They will continue these atrocities, as that is what they consciously do.

People from the center and west of the state are actually nice people. Sorta like rural Oregonians and Washingtonians. But in all 3 fascist kleptocrats control the governement, media, schools, etc. so it looks bad from afar.

That seems to be true for many states now. Three quarters of the state of California are decent, conservative people but the population centers in L.A. and San Francisco vote solid Democrat. Ditto for Nevada, conservative state except for Las Vegas.

I am well aware of our fine governors past, and his affinity for rapists and various other homicidal type maniacs.

This state is a freakshow. Without the voters who return most of these reprobates to the great and general court, the senate, and the judiciary, the crime rate here would skyrocket. Martha keeps the lid on, and the police only torque off when one of their own takes one for the team.

Tomorrow, no one will give a $hit. Most of the people are as corrupt as the criminals here.

I feel so bad for the good people here who simply do not have the capability to understand that they are allowed to live simply to serve some truly heinous bastards and bitches.

This is all coming your way, as they will continue to bail north.

Hopefully as the Kleptocracy runs out of funds things will return to a more constitutional basis. If they don’t enslave us first.

My condolence and prayer to the fallen officer victim. Dying in the line of duty, protecting the public is the highest honor rendered by public servants. For that I am grateful of his service, protection and sacrifice.

Kleptocrats, not so much.

>>Ditto for Nevada, conservative state except for Las Vegas.<<

Used to be thata way. Not no more. Reno is almost as bad as Vegas. Republican mayors - Reno Mayor Bob Cashell and Sparks Mayor Geno Martini - helped Reid raise money for his re-election. Pisses me off that Mrs. and I voted for the back stabbing bastard.

Republicans ain’t what they used to be.

Dominic Cinelli’s parole records show a checkered past: a rehabilitated junkie who started shooting heroin at 14, he was a career criminal who at one point was serving three concurrent life sentences for several armed robberies, armed assault with intent to commit murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

How in the world does a state let an animal like this out of prison? Even Massachusetts has to have SOME judges and public employee drones that have an iota of commonsense.

Hearing this makes me reluctant to stay at Bob Cashell’s Topaz Lodge again. Too bad, been staying there since the 1970s while shopping in Carson City and Reno.

I did see a lot of Obama bumper stickers and signs in Minden and Gardnerville during the last election. It must be all the Bay area people moving there.

There’s a scene in “The Town” where a local cop is sitting in his cop car when the 4 robbers pull up next to him and start getting their guns and money from their latest robbery out, then they notice each other. The cop stares at them, they stare back. Robbers still in their nun outfits. After a few seconds the cop just turns his head and ignores them. The robbers continue on with their business and get the hell out of dodge.

I’m thinking this is probably standard operating procedure for most MA cops, most of the time.

They had the opportunity to elect a very good normal Governor so whoever voted for the Enemy will probably go to Hell and take all the sane people in that sewer with them!!

...he was a career criminal who at one point was serving three concurrent life sentences for several armed robberies, armed assault with intent to commit murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

But an appeals court decision made him eligible for parole and he walked in February 2009. The Parole Board at that time noted: “Cinelli’s release to community supervision at this time is not incompatible with the welfare of society.”

As a Pennsylvanian, I must admit I'm pleased as punch to have Massachusetts as the East Coast magnet for vermin, parasites, and homos much the way San Fransicko acts as a similar magnet on the left coast. Thank you, Massachusetts voters!
