    TARPON SPRINGS --A police officer was shot and killed overnight in Tarpon Springs, and a suspect has been taken into custody, authorities said.The shooting happened at 3 a.m. at or near 199 Grand Boulevard, a few blocks from the city's Sponge Docks.
