As of this writing the equivalent cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Greater London is $4.70. France and Germany pay slightly higher, $4.93 per gallon of regular unleaded.

This Progressive eurocentric Obama administration will then explain that America has long enjoyed the lowest gas prices on the planet at the expense of the rest of the world and that it would only be fair if America paid an appropriate price.
Ahhh yes, the Obama presidency. Its the Jimmy Peanut presidency in slow motion. Zero is shaking up his cabinet just like Peanut Boy did when he sensed the end of his relevancy. Obama has been blaming Americans and America for its troubles. Surely a “malaise” speech is in B. Hussein’s near future. Out went Jimmuh, in went Reagan. Out goes Imam Obama, in goes Sarah Palin. Hey Zero, Yes She Can!
Then the gap seems to have closed significantly since the Bush years and it's because the cost of our gas is rising to meet its cost in Europe.
Whereby true, red blooded Americans will say "So what?"
America is the breadbasket to the world. Without America hundreds of millions of people would be starving right now. The vast majority of life saving medicines, medical devices, and medical procedures are born from American ingenuity. Without America, hundreds of millions of people would be dying of curable diseases. America also has shed more blood to defend more innocent people than any nation in the history of the world. Without America, the whole of Europe and Asia would be living under a Facsist/Communist tyrannical dictatorship.
I think those things are worth the rest of the world chipping in so that brave, productive, innovative Americans can have cheap fuel so we can do what we do best. Lead the way to prosperity!
