Obama to give Manhattan back to Native Americans

President Obama is voicing support for a U.N. resolution that could accomplish something as radical as relinquishing some U.S. sovereignty and opening a path for the return of ancient tribal lands to American Indians, including even parts of Manhattan.

The issue is causing alarm among legal experts.

In recent remarks at the White House during a "tribal nations conference," Obama endorsed the "United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People," which includes a sweeping declaration that "indigenous peoples have a right to lands and resources they traditionally occupied or otherwise used" but that later were acquired by occupying forces.

"U.N. resolutions like this claiming amorphous rights can be a stalking horse for future attempts to have international courts enforce broad interpretations of those rights at the expense of American sovereignty," Theodore Frank, a fellow with the Center for Legal Policy at the Manhattan Institute, a leading public policy think tank in New York City, told WND.

Academic legal experts indicate that American Indians during the Carter era first drew up plans for reacquisition of lost tribal lands, setting the stage for the U.N. resolution that Obama is embracing. The feasibility study, eyeing 650 million acres of federally owned land in the U.S., was conducted by the Indian Education Institute at Eastern Oregon State, one expert recalled for WND.

"Re-purchase would restore land back to its original owners thus strengthening tribal sovereignty and jurisdiction over its people and land," Julianne Jennings Nottoway, a professor of anthropology at Pima Community College in Tuscon, Ariz., said. "Also, it would allow tribes the opportunity to develop socially, politically and economically as competitors as nation-states within a global context under the act of self-determination."

People in the US never pay attention until an issue becomes local or universal. Everything that the Obama administration is doing is aimed at redistribution, including returning rural land to its “rightful owners”. It’s Agenda 21.

We have been witnessing this movement in WA state for years, but now it has the backing of the Obama administration. Obama even invited representatives of certain tribes (including our local tribe, the Lummis) to the White House, where the Indians were told that Obama intended to return their land to them. One of the locals came back and bragged about it on the web site of the local newspaper. The local interpreted what Obama said as restorative justice, or getting even.

By reason of this UN farce do Mexicans have legal title to the areas occupied by Americans as a result of the Mexican-American War? The current occupant of the White House, due to his hatred of this country and its people, may just authorize transfer of title.”””’

How about the land covered by The Louisiana Purchase???

The question is how is indigenous defined?

Easy. Anyone but White people are indigenous.

I have heard this term with increasign frequency and expect that trend to continue. In PC speak, Indigenous is the “new” favored class.

Found this a while back on the Internet:

In 1776 the Sioux defeated the Cheyenne in war and took the Black Hills from them.

About 100 years later the US did the same to the Sioux.

Why does the first conquest confer legitimate title and the second doesn’t?

So who gets the Black Hills, the Cheyenne or the Sioux?

Reparations—Pure & Simple.

Gone far beyond the 40 acres & a mule.

Let-s see— give back land that white Americans now own- to the Indians—who live on major subsistence of the American taxpayers...

Are these Indians going to claim that everything is ‘reservation land’ & not subject to any property taxes?

Where will the money for the support of the Indians come from in the future???

Take back all of the country & give it back to the Indians—Mexicans—French—Spanish....

How much damage can one administration do to this country?

We will fight back, NObama.

As Whites gradually fade from majority status, look for more and more of this. Except, I guess, it will increasingly be policy instead of nonsense. In their end, they don’t really want the land, just the $$. Eventually, every White person will be paying a 50%+ tax for past “crimes” of their ancestors. Already, any Third worlder who wanders across the border has a claim on us. Increasingly that will be codified into law. If nothing changes, inn 100 years, our grandchildren will effectively be slaves—count on it.

I’m indigenous. I was born here, raised here, and have spent my whole life here. My 4 grandparents, though, were Jews from Russia and Poland.
