A 70 plus age retired Texas Air National Guard Lt. Colonel has been diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer.
During the Bush debate in the media concerning whether or not Bush completed his obligation to the State of Texas, this is the guy the Bush people requested to review his service records.
Please offer prayers for my friend.
Prayers for God’s blessings on all.
Prayers for the Lt. Colonel and all who love him!
Tough news around Christmas. Your friends and your family are in our prayers tonight.
I thank each of you for offering your prayers in support for my friend. We speak almost everyday. He’ll be heartened to know so many have him in their thoughts. He, like me, has good reason to know the healing power of prayer.
With family and friends who have undergone treatment for various forms of cancer, he knows what he’ll face. His attitude and spirit is right. So, with this extra push from your prayers, he’ll be set to face down this disease.
Best wishes for the New Year and thank you again for your prayers.
R.
Joining in with prayers up.
He touched many lives while walking on Gods earth, now he worships with an angelic voice unceasingly. That makes my heart glad.
Prayers continue for your friend.
Praying for your friend’s recovery.
Thank you,
Worth something spiritual to memorize to repeat and share . . . by voice.
Thanks, Allegra;
Having read many of your comments . . .
Your comments . . . appreciated.
He sounds like a great American.
Prayers still continue for your friend.
Prayers sent.
Prayers for the Lt.Colonel.
Prayers for healing, peace and courage.
Thank you very much for your prayers. Could you please continue?
The prognosis is not good. Thursday my friend was diagnosed with Stage 4, inoperable lung cancer. Due to the fragile condition of his lungs from other causes, radiation is not an option. On Tuesday he begins a course of eight chemo-therapy sessions, after which his oncologists will decide whether or not to continue with the chemo.
If the chemo does not work, he’s looking at maybe a year. If it does work, continued treatment may only give him two or three years.
But, the guy is tough as nails. His spirits are up. His attitude is right. He has excellent support from family and friends. Like always, he’s ready to face whatever comes.
He asked me to tell you how much he appreciates your prayers.
Thanks,
R.
Thank you for asking, I will certainly continue to keep your friend in my prayers. It’s good to get an update, thanks for that.
Salvation, when you are not busy, would you please ping the list to the update at 56, and ask again for prayers, this time for the success of chemo and any other needs R’s friend has? It’s so good to have someone who keeps the list! God bless you, FRiend.
Prayers continue
bump to 56
Thanks for the update . . . prayers continue!
