The next RNC chairwoman? Amb. Ann Wagner wary of transatlantic creep of socialism

When Ann Wagner, the former United States ambassador to Luxembourg, returned from abroad in 2009, she felt that she has not entirely left Europe behind.

“I felt, after I left, that perhaps socialism had begun to follow me across the pond,” she told The Daily Caller in a phone interview.

In an attempt to help end what she views as the government’s overreach during President Barack Obama’s tenure, Wagner is running for chair of the Republican National Committee.

John Bolton endorses Wagner John Ashcroft endorses Wagner

She wants Steele out, endorses the tea party, said socialism followed her across the pond...doesn't sound like she's a Tokyo Rove, Grahamnesty, McQueeg Bushie.

I don't know who else would be better but an endorsement from John Bolton goes a long way for me.

She headed the bush election effort in mo, she got paid an ambassadorship for her efforts. She is bushbot 119 percent.

Working for the party or the Bushes doesn’t make one un-conservative.

I want to see more credentials but so far she’s not disappointed.

She was Mo.’s repub state chairman and ran Roy Blunt’s successful Senate campain here in Mo.
