WASHINGTON (AP) — The chairman of the Democratic National Committee on Sunday said he thinks the chances that President Obama will face a serious primary challenger in 2012 are "virtually nil."

Former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, now DNC chairman, said there's always the possibility that a fringe candidate could try to mount a challenge. But Mr. Kaine said Democrats feel very good about Mr. Obama's re-election prospects if, as Mr. Kaine put it, the president keeps doing the job that people elected him to do.

Yes Tim Kaine, your impressive leader is so magnificent that he led his party into one of the worst shellackings in recent political elections during November.

That guy is your incredible leader?

Good one.

Obama was semi-successful during the lame duck Congress.

And, if the jobs situation improves and inflation is held down, Obama could do a Clinton and be strong going into 2012.

All the President's men: Obama given a 20-MAN motorcade to visit childhood friend in Hawaii (no wonder his Christmas holiday is costing the country $1.5m)

I see Sarah still resides in their heads 24/7; thus, their need for propaganda.

But Mr. Kaine said Democrats feel very good about Mr. Obama's re-election prospects if, as Mr. Kaine put it, the president keeps doing the job that people elected him to do.

Democrats feel very good? That's why some 'rats crossed the aisle after the 2010 election? LOL!

I don’t think so. Just because the progressive commiecrat dems told the majority of Americans they put they’re politics before country in a lame duck session of antics of power does not mean Obama is a slick willy comeback kid. Obama not having a challenger is the big news of hope for him. No way in hell with ACORN he could win another national election.

My fear is that the GOP candidates will do a great job knocking themselves off in the Primary. Unless his excellency gets a decent threat in a primary battle, he will probably be successful as the GOP does its suicide act.

My fear about the GOP is based on most of those clowns running seem to want the Presidency as a scalp on their list of accomplishments. We need someone who sees the need to save the country and wishes to put this service above their personal gratification. There are a few with that mark that come to mind: Newt (forbid it he wins as he is off the reservation); Paul; Ryan; Palen; amongst a few others. Chief among the grandstanders is Romney IMO.

Obama has spend his first two years challenging himself...with his record re-election - by a sane society - should be impossible. But a sane society didn't put him into office, did they?

Translation: Every Democrat in the country knows that we’re going to lose the Presidency in 2012 and nobody wants that to splash on them.

Mr. Kaine is welcome to his delusions, but he can’t control the Clintons or anybody else that wants to run...and win against the Obama regime.

Me thinks this is why that Hawaii governor is bringing up the BC issue
and Chrisy M. and other leftist propaganda spewers are helping.

They have had time to come up with something better now. Still fake but real.

BTW I’m sure the leftist will demand a BC from any person running against 0.

Yep, they're chewing their nails off waiting. There's only so much crap they can spew and call it 'news'.

They want a candidate they can degrade and call it news i.e. Bristol Palin.
