The GOP establishment gives another chairmanship to a RINO
RedState ^ | 12-30-10 | Bob Wersheir

Despite Johnson’s turning his back on such a fundamental liberty as the right to own property, the Republican establishment apparently sees nothing wrong with putting Johnson in charge of a subcommittee that, as stated in Illinois’ News-Gazette, “deals with issues such as rural development programs…and family farming matters.”

Give Mitt a “Golden RINO” with hooves of clay.

then it’s obvious that the ballot box didn’t work.

Ballot box quit working many years ago.

Now lie down, croppie.

That piece of news should serve as a reminder that the Conservative’s work is far from over. Occurrences like that should serve as motivation to continue the in Tea Party spirit and remove the incumbents until the elite GOP establishment is broken. Seeing and hearing so-called GOP elites like Karl Rove, Fred Barnes, Bill Kristol, John McCain, Newt Gingrich, Charles Krauthammer, and George Will express their acrimony for Tea Party conservatives should be an indicator that the elite RINO GOP establishment is feeling the pressure. This movement is in its early stages and needs to be grown and developed.

I am beginning to become very disgusted with Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity for constantly giving these RINOs a platform to inflict damage upon the Tea Party movement. Its clear that even the elites making the decisions at News Corporation do not like the change that the Tea Party represents. Sarah “Howard Roark” Palin and her fellow Tea Party members cannot be bought and sold, and we need to recognize that our adversaries are all those who are threatened by Tea Party integrity. This movement is truly of, by, and for the common people of America and we should not expect help from FOX News, Hannity, O’Reilly, Krauthammer, Rove, or any of the elites. This will only come to pass if each and every one of us does his part to know the message, stay true to the message, and get the message out in everyday conversation.

“And according to opensecrets.org, guess who was the number one donor to Johnson’s 2004 campaign? You guessed it. Lawyers. $32,458.”

What’s always been so repugnant to me is how cheaply these whores sells themselves and our freedoms.

Imagine, just $32K buys you untold millions of lawsuit dollars! That is a one hell of a return on your investments. No wonder lobbyists get paid so well and why they flock to washington by the thousands.

I’m an optimist. I’m still holding out hope that things will actually get better now, so I’ll reserve my judgment until after the House starts passing bills...

Thank you for some common sense...I too am a very strong conservative and I am willing to let the new congress be seated; watch what they do or don't do and then render my opinion of any results or lack thereof. I actively support tea party types and will monitor their actions against their words.

But to start wringing our hands is premature at this point. The first RINO move by anyone will start the fire in the belly and will try to not only defeat the liar; but pursue political destruction of them will be my goal.

Just confirms my suspicions that nothing has changed, business as usual, Congressional power whores turning tricks on Constitution Avenue.

Rope is too good for traitors to the Constitution, who do their dastardly deeds under color of law.

I keep telling people. All institutions in this country have been infiltrated by the left. The GOP is the rear guard of the DNC. They are playing good cop bad cop against the american people. They are not to be trusted.

America WILL rid itself of socialism, count on it.

Or socialism will get rid of America, count on it.

Do you know the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans when it comes to growing the power of the federal government and infringing on our personal liberties?

Neither do I.

My rep. He’s a lawyer so the fact he gets donations from lawyers is no surprise. He’s had some good votes and he’s had some bad votes. The guy the dems were running against him is a real piece of work.

Short of multiple nuclear attacks on major cities or all-out civil war, I hold no such hope for the Republic. Demographics don't lie and American patriots are vastly outnumbered by looters, useful idiots, and statists of every description.

“But but but, weren’t these the people that were going to Save Us All?”

No. The folks who choose committee chairs are the ones who already hold leadership posts, which certainly doesn’t include incoming freshmen who haven’t even taken office yet.

What’s your basic estimation of him? Of course he’s better than the Dem.

Where I live (OR) other than the state legislature, all the evil dems won. Sick. There’s tons of voter fraud here, the dems pushed vote by mail so it’s all vote by mail.

Actually, they're not. We're simply not being represented by the Republican Party. It's become a false flag operation of the liberals.

But there's still more of us than there are of them.

Polls consistently show more self-identified conservatives than liberals in ALL FIFTY STATES.

Ah, yes: the old “He’s Better Than The Democrat” defense.

Because driving toward a brick wall at 50 mph is so much better than driving toward it at 70 mph.
