Why aren’t we using the Israeli model of 12 ft tilt up concrete?
That would all be nice, but we have RINOs and Democrats that WANT illegals in this country because they represent cheap labor and potential future constituents. Even if this program were to be instituted, it would have enough loopholes to drive 1/2 of Mexico through. There would soon be exceptions to the rule, coming from Washington of course.
Congress should exercise its Constitutional power of establishing uniform rules for naturalization to prevent "automatic anchor baby" citizenship. Create a streamlined "guest worker" registration process -- with time limits -- to encourage those who are now illegal, to become legal. Expiration of permit = no jobs or entitlements.
Given that we have over 10% real unemployment and given that we are paying American citizens to NOT work, perhaps it's time to quit importing cheap labor through any guest worker program. Too many American professionals have lost their jobs to imported labor.
Boot 'em all out. If they want to become Americans, there is a naturalization process already in place that has worked for decades.
Like most solutions, the most effective one is also quite inexpensive and easy to implement - and intolerable to those whose livelihood and power depends therein.
That section of upright pipe is not all that long, at the end of it are railroad track about four foot high, just suspose to stop a truck not people. Jory laid the wood to all of the tax payers with his billions spent for nothing. But it probably got his ranch note paid.

I have absolutely NO faith that our government will do anything helpful about the problem, and I have plenty of evidence to support that they will do the exact opposite of what needs to be done.
Napolitano and her jack booted minions will probably arrest the two young ladies for showing weaknesses in the fence. They’ll have to spend five years in prison and then an additional four in a federal reeduction camp. Poor children.

Congress won't issue any orders, and I never claimed that they would. But it's obvious that arming the border is the only viable solution. There really isn't any other. I know it. You know it.
