NACY PELOSI SAID “You have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.”
So they passed it, and the GOP can say, “We now know what’s in it.”
If they row in that direction, and it looks like they will, they can take the shine off of it further and they MUST also pass the “GOP Plan” for private healthcare reform. Insurance across state lines, etc.

Pass it with enough dems and you might get it passed in the senate, too.....then override the veto and rattle his cage all the way.

"However, with the Senate still held by the Communist Party, along with the White House, there's no way it will Pass in the end. " Oh yes there is! Just attach it to every bill that has anything to do with financing the government and sit back to see who blinks first.

...showdown with President Barack Obama over his signature domestic policy achievement. Why isn't this called his "signature achievement" period? Is someone going to pull a "signature foreign policy achievement" out of their you know what?

And tie it to the 2011 appropriations bill, just for giggles.

You are all missing the point: we have 47 votes in the Senate and need only four more to get a majority (there won’t be the 2/3 needed for repeal). But, it puts on the spot the supposed “Blue Dogs” from Red States in the Senate, including Tester of Montana, Nelson of Nebraska, Pryor of Arkansas and Conrad of North Dakota, all of whom must run again in two years and all of whom at least voted against the Dream Act and indicated they opposed the Second Stimulus. It also puts Webb on the spot, who has been Obama’s “Silent Butler” on every stinking issue but who must run in a Red State where conservatives easily won the Governorship and 3 out of 4 contested House races this past year.

THE GREAT GOP COLLAPSE at the end of 2010 might be a blessing in disguise. They have to be feeling the anger over their surrender to Obama and perhaps it will force them to the right.

We need to make sure people understand what this law will do to them and their families. Exactly. Full votes to repeal need to be on the table, but with thousands of pages, there is enough for an "outrage of the month" with full detailed committee hearings on individual pieces of the legislation. This would provide a focused message rather than one going in different directions on the many different bad aspects of the bill - followed by additional votes for repeal. If this is not done, especially given the media, it will cause the message to be lost and also it will die out from fatigue over the issue in the news cycle - it would not do us well to fire all ammunition at once.

And McCaskill who distances herself from her every vote (in support of Obama) as often as she can. I heard Reid basically said bring it on and said he would protect the ‘donut hole’ for Medicare recipients. I suspect that's why the Dems have been spending boatloads of taxpayer money on ads about the ‘donut hole’. Medicare must be where they think they can garner support for keeping Obamacare going.

I propose that they pass a bill to remove funding and then DEEM repeal to have passed.
People seem to forget that the House NEVER voted on Obamacare. Pelosi DEEMed it to have passed when the House passed a set of changes to their original bill that was NEVER voted on.
