Those illegally entering Greece come in through Turkey and are not are Turks. Turkey has essentially given muslims from everywhere the green light to enter Greece through its territory whether by land or sea. (example: A security official friend told me that Turks give the migrants knives and tell them to burst their boats in sight of a Greek island—then the Greeks have to pick them up in the water and take them to land - neat trick for getting in)

AS for Turks being Orthodox Christians — there are crypto Christians in Turkey but most were converted forcefully and the rest - 4 million - were killed outright.
