If you move to Michigan and live near me you'll love hearing them constantly flying into your bay window in early spring when they return to nest in the cattails at the back of my property.. dumber than Obama...and they do it every year...another freeper suggested they were seeing their reflection in the window and were being territorial...sounds good to me...bam, then they sit on the rail of the deck and squawk.

LOL I never see them near the house, only out in the wetlands. My neighbor does have a cardinal that spends the entire breeding season banging into her window. She complains, and I suggested she get a rubber snake or cover the window, but she won't do it. I'm sure your redwing blackbirds are not very smart, they don't call them birdbrains for nothing! :)
