At least one person was shot at Millard South High School Wednesday afternoon. The suspect left the scene and is being sought.

Police were called to the school at 149th and Q streets around 12:50 p.m. Police dispatch indicates the victim is an adult male who was taken to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition.

Now they are saying 2 wounded, one critically. My kids went to Millard West, not South, but this school is just a couple miles from home. Sad.... right after this I heard from my daugther (unrelated incident) that a 22 year old friend of hers died last night. Kind of reeling....
NOW THEY ARE SAYING THE SHOOTER HAS BEEN FOUND DEAD.
We lived in Millard about 20 years ago, house on 152nd st just a couple of blocks away from the school. Loved the area. Sorry to hear of this.
