Watch the HBO series Boardwalk Empire to get an idea of what these people are like. They are gangsters and thugs behind political masks.

“NBC News and Politico are reporting that Bill Daley, brother of Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, former Commerce Secretary under Bill Clinton and long-time executive at Wall Street’s JP Morgan Chase will join the Obama Administration as White House Chief of Staff.”

But don’t forget his ‘finest hour’ as Al Gore’s campaign honcho reinventing Gore’s image over and over until finally bullying in Florida the notion that the several counties critical to Gore, and in which Democrats spared no expense, needed to be recounted on the basis of ‘perceived’ intent.

Anyone ever notice how Obama never appoints anyone from his past? Mack McLarty was Clinton's Chief-of-staff. They knew each other since they were in kindergarten. Carl Rove was appointed head of College Republicans by Bush Sr, so Jr has probably known him since then. But Obama? No one from his past. Does he have a past?

Obama’s new bromance with big business

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — President Obama seems to be trying to rebuild his ties with corporate America, with the latest move being his plan to name prominent business leader William Daley as chief of staff.

Daley, a JPMorgan Chase (JPM, Fortune 500) executive and former Commerce Secretary, will be named Thursday to serve as the new White House chief of staff, two senior officials told CNN.

Bill Daley chaired and was active in Gore’s 2000 presidential campaign. He’s the one who brought Chicago shenanigans to the vote in Florida—and very nearly stole the election.
