A 4.4 quake to folks on the west coast is like a severe thunderstorm to us in the midwest...it gets your attention for a while, causes relatively little damage and then people go about their business.

This one was kinda fun but we get em all the time.

I am taking care of a friend who is 100 and we both broke out laughing afterward because of the way it started and just kinda rolled like it was thinking about getting to work and then it just gave up.

The house we are in survived 1906 and 1989. We just don’t sweat them out here.

It just this one was funny.

By the time you figure out what’s going on, it is pretty much done, unless you are right there.
Now my brother in Florida watching hurricanes coming at you for days on end, that is torture.
