I stumbled upon this quiz that will help people to understand where they stand on the political scale. I took the quiz and learned where I stand compared to the average person who took the quiz. It's my guess that most of the people who have taken this quiz are much, much more liberal then I am. I say so because most of the evidence shows that Americans are a lot more conservative than this site's average says. The problem is that the site can only get an average from those who actually respond to their quiz.
Sadly, it's such tests as this one that have a limited amount of input, along with surveys by the MSM, that most political pundits use when they report that a majority of Americans are either moderate or liberal. Thus they claim that the real power and influence is somewhere in the middle with the Independent voter. It's my firm belief that if American voters took a quiz like this one, they would be surprised to find that they fall somewhere on the right side of the political scale. Even those who normally vote for a leftist Democrat would be shocked to learn that they actually have more in common with a conservative Republican than they do with the Democrat or liberal Republican politician many of them vote for.
It really should not shock anyone though. All you have to do is listen to what Democrats say when they are running for election. They are all conservatives, until they actually get elected and start to govern. Then they are anything but a conservative, and the MSM does all they can to give them cover by keeping the masses preoccupied with what Lindsey Lohan, Brad Pitt, or Mel Gibson are doing. If they told the truth about what they believed when they were running for office, you and I know very well that they would never get elected.......

I’m about where you are but it came out that I am a little to the “left” by one square.
Some of the questions were weighted and ambiguous. For example, the “we shouldn’t condemn other cultures are barbarians.” Well, when it comes to the Taliban, yes we should for the simple reason that they ARE barbarians. Call them what they are. But that doesn’t mean that we are superior to ALL cultures. I certainly prefer living in America and would not like to live in China but I wouldn’t claim we are “culturally superior” to the Chinese.
The same with the question about “intervening in other countries where one group is slaughtering others.” I’d rather pick and chose.

My results are on post 18, and by the looks of things, I’m likely the biggest righty here. :D
Additionally, I’m curious about the scatter plot of the Democrats who took the test. It looks like they lean more toward the libertarian side of spectrum, and so it’s sort of peculiar that they would be for the extreme authoritarian ObamaCare. Why isn’t there more screaming going on in the Democratic party and why are Republicans, who appear to be more authoritarian the ones at each other’s throats, so to speak? Strange, if it’s indeed true.

Most people who posted were in the lower right quadrant somewhere.
