RE :”
A group of Democrats in the House are proposing a ban on using terminology in political debates, reporting and ads that can strike as a call to violence. In fact, the term strike is among the words placed in the draft of the bill. Such words as, Used his Campaign Arsenal; Has no Ammunition Left; Is a Target of a new Attack ad, will all be banned. In addition, A Fire fight Erupted; Caught in the Crosshairs; Take out political opponent; The other side Shot Back, and The President drew Sharp criticism, are all on the chopping block. “
While I understand that making this tragedy political is standard in national politics(unfortunately), this proposal is beyond stupid.

this proposal is beyond stupid. A Democrat is proposing it. So, of course, it is beyond stupid.
And the press will call it the best idea since the safety pin. Oops. Safety...er, uh...clasp.

This is satire.
But its scary since it captures the thinking of these people all too well.
Their opponents’ right to free speech will incite people to murder and so they must be muzzled.
It looks like our bipartisan respect for the Constitution lasted only a fortnight.

That was my reaction, also. What a bunch of morons. Are they going to list every word/phrase that might seem "violent"? Are they going to add to and maintain this list? If I'm running for office, do I need to scan the list before I say something?
Morons.

I say go ahead---as long as these words that make Americans cringe are also banned:
