Within 15 min arriving at my future Mother-in-law’s from a trip to Israel where I met my future wife . . . having had no shower for 48 hours due luggage hassles etc.
standing in her kitchen . . . this rather tall and stout woman let out a hugely noisey flapping fart.
After which she merely said
“Oh, welll, welcome to the family!”
The body expressing air is normal. We accept sneezing but get silly about air from the other end. That has always struck me as odd.
