What does the principal have to say about drug or alcohol abuse “challenges” that couldn’t be accomplished by sending each family a copy of the brochures issued by the police department? Parents can’t or won’t read them? Oh, well ...
Perhaps if the parents of Loughner had been required to communicate directly with the schools, something could have been done before it was too late. Something was wrong in that family for a long time. See link:
