Nice timing. She pre-empted Obama.
Now, the talking heads will be asking Obama about his reaction to Sarah’s letter.
They are so afraid of her.

Reports of her political demise were a tad premature. As long as Obama the destroyer is around she’ll be right there on his case.
Yes, beautifully done. I wonder if this might be the beginning of a newly presidential Palin. The tone of her voice throughout was in a lower register than we are used to hearing. I wonder if she’s also got that vocal coaching some people here have been calling for.
The “gutless GOP establishment” is quietly hoping from the sidelines that this awful crime and the lib finger pointing finally take her down. I’ll be damned if I ever give those bastards another dime. My contributions will go straight to SarahPAC.

The GOP establishment’s silence is a sin of omission. By not taking a stand they have shown who they are. The left has been allowed to define conservatism for far too long.
The Tea Party established a foothold in the turf of the GOP power elite and they are happy to let the accusations filter into the public psyche. Neither principle, nor Republic matter to them. It’s about power and influence.
2012 is not that far away, and the 24 hour news cycle will not wash away the memories of this abandonment and cowardice.

WOW!!! Sarah now has my full support if she decides to serve our country. I was on the fence but no more. This response was very Presidential and reminded me of speeches Reagan would give such as the horrific Challenger accident. WOW!!!
The tone was somber and as you say, resolute. She wasn’t speaking to fire up a crowd, or make herself heard over loud cheering. Don’t know if a voice coach has been consulted, but from what I’ve seen on the TLC show; in more quiet settings, that’s a pretty normal speech pattern.
My only complaint on the video, is minor, and of a technical nature. We know Todd is her behind the scenes engineer and cameraman, but he needs to place the lights so they don’t reflect off her glasses. I found it distracting.

This is one hell of a speech. Both she and her writers are to be commended!
