AWESOME!!!

That speech was presidential.

The situation is tragic, and the need for the speech saddening. ...and that is precisely ‘it’ - this speech needed to be delivered by a responsible leader, for America and all Americans.

A responsible leader did deliver it: Sarah Palin. In the process, she demonstrated another aspect of her leadership.

I’ve really been hoping she decides to run for president.

My only concern is most of her speeches have a levity about them, a sort of “den mother” humor. It’s not bad, it has a place, but it suggests a limited range.

This was the sort of serious speech I was looking for her to give. The content was great and it set the right tone. It was even-handed and mature, but not in the least condescending.

If she were to give a policy speech, say on healthcare, energy independence, or national security, in this tone with this demeanor, it would blow skeptics away. Likewise, a serious philosophical speech would be a clarion call to conservatives.

I’m hopeful she’ll do just that at an appropriate time.

This was a good message, expertly delivered, and it also reaffirmed my belief she’ll make an excellent president.

Exactly right. Most of the time I would cringe when she'd give some of her speeches because of her delivery, both in tone and demeanor, but this one was wonderful, and hope we'll be hearing more just like it.
