Is abortion a crime against the unborn or an important medical procedure that helps women control their own bodies and destines?
Americans are unlikely to agree anytime soon. But whether or not you think it's a good thing, a new study from the Guttmacher Institute suggests abortions are a common thing.
Half of all pregnancies are unintended, according to the report which studies numbers from 2008. And of those, four out of ten end in abortion.
Good, bad, or otherwise? You decide. Here are the 25 states with the highest rates of abortion, ranked by percentage, not total abortions.

A couple of those states surprised me.
Mike
The southern states 23 through 25 might surprise some but those states have high African American populations and last I read (over a year ago) it was predominantly that group that kills their unborn. No that others don’t, but African Americans by far lead the way.
Two points;
1. How many/what % of African American babies were slaughtered in their Mother’s wombs.
2. What is the rate of breast cancer in those areas of high abortion rates?
Blue states (in general) murder their babies.
60% of murdered babies in NY City “Planned Parenthood” abattoirs.
60% of murdered babies in NY City Planned Parenthood abattoirs are black.
I would love to see the answer to your second question.
That would be interesting to know.
Kansas’s rate should fall in the coming years...
In liberal California, pockets of breast cancer have been reported in areas where abortion is the co religion with green enviralism.
Of course we can’t get the mediots or the government funded researchers to research the rates for the % of breast cancer following abortion and if that rate goes up after each abortion.
I was disturbed by the rate in Kansas so when I went through there on a business trip I set out to find out why it was so high. It took me about 20 minutes to learn that nearly half of the abortions performed in Kansas are from neighboring states, primarily Oklahoma and Missouri. Part of this was because of the proximity of the clinics to the borders. Now some of those clinics are gone and the rate may drop.
Interesting data, however the state with the highest percentage (Delaware) had fewer total abortions then the 25th ranked state (Tennesee).
That would be like saying some podunk town in Alaska is more dangerous then NYC because they have a higher murder rate. Well if your town is only 50 people and 2 people get murdered in a bar fight, that hardly makes the town more dangerous then NYC even if the percentage is higher.
I know that any abortion is one too many, but I’m just pointing out a descrepancy.
“60% of murdered babies in NY City Planned Parenthood abattoirs are black.”
This is one prime example of the final solution of racism pushed by the Democrats on their black slave voters.
One of these days, intelligent blacks will wake up and tear down the rat party for their racism and extermination goals of black babies.
“This is one prime example of the final solution of racism pushed by the Democrats on their black slave voters.”
Yeah, and they did such a good job that now they have to import their voters from Mexico.
and odumbi is the biggest cheerleader for killing black babies before they are born...and even after!
“Yeah, and they did such a good job that now they have to import their voters from Mexico.”
Exactly.
Each year since the 1960’s the Democrat abortionists have decimated unborn innocent blackchildren.
The stats have caught up with them and they bring in the illegal Hispanics to vote in the place of the murdered black babies.
breast cancer has long since been regarded as primarily caused by environmental influences. There are even suggestions that bras cause cancer. Teasing out the impact of abortions would be statistically difficult. I’m not sure you would get the clear picture you seek.
Abortion is as much a medical procedure as is shooting somebody.
“Is abortion a crime against the unborn or an important medical procedure that helped to control their bodies and destinies?”
We could as it another way.
Were the experiments done by Nazi Dr. Joseph Mengele a crime against humanity or just important medical procedures that helped to control Jews’ own bodies and destinies?
Blacks lead the way because they were the initial targets of the policies; when they wouldn’t “play ball” then financial realities forced them into it via welfare reform.
