Can Mr. Dershowitz give us permission to say “niggardly” and “negate,” or do we need to get that from Jesse Jackson?

These kinds of controversies arise because some people believe Sarah Palin has no command of the English language or the uses of turns of phrase. And every time she proves them wrong.

Both of them walk over the keyboard when their bowl is empty - it gets me off to the kitchen to fill the bowl!

You’d like we could move on, but the democrats see this as an election issue for 2012.

Fortunately, Sarah Palin has the HIGH ROAD all to herself.

Alan Dershowitz is neither a fan nor a supporter of herrs, so his statement of defense, is worth millions, at least in the elite community that follows him.

LOL. Point taken, but I am pleased that Alan Dershowizt spoke out in her defense.

If you’re not attending to your cat’s wishes then you’re not doing your job.

Yes, it’s good to have *anyone* take a stand against the deranged hypersensitivity about *some* people’s use of common phrases.

I think Sarah Palin chose those words carefully, first because they were accurate and directly to the point and secondly because she knew the MSM would go apoplectic.

I'm sure if she had a army of Speechwriters like Obama, they would have told her to tone it down. But when people in the media are accusing you of having blood on your hands following a mass murder, it is not a time to mince words or pull your punches.

BTW, Where are all the other Republicans coming to her defense?

I think it's the lefties trying to find anything they can to attack her and Conservatives in general with, regardless of whether it's true or not.

And I don't think it's working anymore.

My favorite quote from Dershowitz:

"We, the People of this country, have no unalienable rights... all our rights are subject to modification... the Constitution of the United States of America is nothing more than a piece of paper and... our government should not be restrained by the Constitution because our government can do good things for people."

It’s as if Sarah Palin had entered the temple of government and media and kicked over a few tables.

fixed it for you.

Even not considering the "broad, metaphorical meaning" and focusing on the literal meaning of blood libel which led to pogroms and killings, the term 'blood libel' is accurate because it seems that those who are libeling conservatives and conservative broadcasters would not be necessarily unhappy if they incited violence against the right.

"Blood libel" seems an accurate term to use to describe a false accusation of an offense sufficiently heinous that it would provoke bloodshed against those so libeled.
