DEVELOPING: The Pima County Sheriff's Department released reports on Wednesday detailing contact with Arizona gunman Jared Loughner prior to Saturday's shooting.
The reports, which date back to 2004, detail all personal contact Pima County deputies had with Loughner beginning on Sept. 23, 2004, when he was the victim of a reported assault.
Loughner was later arrested as a juvenile for possession of alcohol on May 15, 2006, according to a police report.
"[Loughner] advised he drank the alcohol because he was very upset as his father yelled at him," according to the report, which noted Loughner's reddened eyes and strong odor of alcohol

Interesting omissions...
Also, there are numerous observations about the condition of Jared when he went to the hospital with “alcohol poisoning”. Apparently, his condition was pretty serious and with these incomplete reports, I am not seeing that.
Numerous classmates said that his personality changed dramatically after that incident and he dropped out of school shortly after that event.
I’d like to hear more about the clear-thinking Walmart clerk who refused to sell ammunition to Loughner because Loughner was “acting strangely.”

What about all the stories claiming that Loughner went around threatening to kill people, and that some of these threats were reported to the sheriff’s office. Why is nothing said about that?
Because that would be the real smoking gun, if as claimed the sheriff refused to investigate these reports but assured people that the perp was OK because he was under proper medical care? Did the Sheriff neglect to file any of this? Or did he release only selective records?

Please straighten me out. I thought that the “death threats” were notes found in his home, not notes that had actually been sent.
Am I missing something?
