I like to think of it like this, every gallon of gasoline that I burn is a gallon of gasoline that the Chinese can’t burn. Furthermore, I think you fail to understand a key aspect of conservatism; that being, TO CONSERVE. It makes no sense to burn up our indigenous resources. Arguing to use up our mineral wealth to conserve worthless paper dollars is idiotic. what’s worse, it’s just more of the same kind of short sighted pass the buck to the next generation kind of thinking that has put us in the position that we are currently in. The one thing that is perfectly clear in this world is that the exponential growth curve is running into the wall of finite resources.
“Today’s EPA decision is not just fundamentally wrong, it is an unprecedented act by the federal government that will cost our state and our nation even more jobs during the worst recession in this country’s history,” Senator Joe Manchin, a Democrat, said in a release” just before bending over and kissing Harry Reid’s ass.
Apparently you have no idea of the difference between Conservatism and Eviro-extremism. There is more natural resources in our Country than we could use up in over 100 yrs by which time we will be developing other energy sources. To lock it up is insanity and got us where we are today.
You must be happy they are trying to close coal, gas, oil, nuclear and every other type of energy.
Pray for America
Hardly unexpected. But day-yum!
