A house divided against itself cannot stand but it will certainly garner a lot of media attention. As we told you earlier, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is criticizing Fox News Channels All-Star Panel for, as he sees it, slobbering over President Barack Obamas speech at this weeks memorial event for those killed in the recent Tucson, Arizona shooting.
Fox News is, of course, fighting back. Charles Krauthammer appeared on Bret Baiers show last night and responded to Limbaughs critique:
"As one of the three slobberers I find it interesting that only the ruling class wants a president who is smart articulate and oratorical in delivering a funeral oration Its an odd and rather condescending view of what the rest of America is looking for in their president."

Ok, maybe Shimmy Shimmelstone...
Although he might object to this, I would say that Charles is part of the Washington media establishment and he relishes his role of challenging the left on points of principle (and intellect) but also challenging the right when he feels it suits his purpose and allows him to be viewed as detached and not playing politics. Personally, I can't understand how anyone would have been impressed with that over-the-top speech and pep-rally. But Charles likes to offend both sides. It ensures he'll get a nice table at the favored restaurants in DC.
I worked really hard on this post, a year ago now or so. I hope someone reads and understands it. It’s my take on “Julius Caesar, Act III Scene II” (IIRC)

I turned off FOX because of the gushing non-judgmental tone of the reporting. None of the FOX team mentioned the fact that Obama stated that the shooting was not political, but never the less called for “civility”. It seemed to me that most of the reporting was about as uncivil as one could get.
It seems to me that it was Krauthammer, who mentioned that Obama repeated the story of Gifford’s opening her eyes for the first time, to allow the cheering to continue, and that was totally appropriate. He never mentioned that the story, itself was a lie, that she had opened her eyes on Sunday.
HEY CHARLES!! Quit your yakking!! Ever since Ozero paid you a compliment about you being a brilliant commentator and writer YOU have been kissing his A$$! DEEP DOWN IN YOUR HEART YOU KNOW THAT’S THE TRUTH!! Watch it or you’ll end up as WASHED UP as Dan Rather!!
"Your right?"
Is that different from my left?
And the rest of us, Charles, want a president who might (might, I said, it isn’t necessary to) be less articulate and oratorical, but is on the other hand smart enough to understand that souvenir T-shirts and a pep-rally atmosphere are perhaps out of place at a memorial service for people who were shot to death by a raving lunatic (especially if he’s going to be speaking there) and either gets the organizers to tone it down or doesn’t go. I suspect Mrs. Palin, despite the patchwork college transcripts and whatever other flaws you think she has, gets that in a way that Teh Awesome with his golden pipes and his prestigious education doesn’t. I mean, seriously, if a golden voice is all that important to the job, let’s set up an exploratory committee for Ted Williams after he gets out of rehab.
I still like Krauth but on this matter Rush Limbaugh was right ...in spades
The Fox All Stars were dreamy little school girls. Idiots! But I still like Krauthammer
Obama—
“Just want to give a long extended shout out to my heap big Medicine Man friend who by the way has Mexican roots”
“We don’t need any Reverends. Bring in the clowns”
I think what really bugs people like Noonan and Krauthammer is that despite their credentials, (right schools, administrtion jobs) they are no longer the leading thinkers of conservatism. They have largely been replaced by people who have never worked inside the Beltway, and often didn’t go to Ivy League shools, or in the case of Rush, didn’t finish college at all. In their world that excludes them from being deep, sophisticated thinkers, and they can’t stand it.
He was dismissive, early on, of the Tea Party movement and much too Complimentary to Obama of late. There really is an elite who wants as little input as possible from the masses. Krauthammer and the RINOs in Congress are typical.
Actually, I bet the left feels the same way about their Reps. and pundits.
Chuck is living in denial. He and the rest of the panel are the epitome of inside the beltway elitist. And Chuck is nothing more than a RINO who has oh so brief moments of clarity.
Rush can hit the target better than any Democrat Jew and day.
Murdoch gave everyone their marching orders after the shooting... fall in line with the unity, period.
Here is the problem with all the RINOs we have to endure these days. When they study Political Science, they ALL develop a communist-leaning or totally communist outlook. Then they pick a label to wear for their performance before all the unwashed masses, Red Team vs. Blue Team, when actually it is "All of Them" against "We the People".
Comrade Krauthammer, the communist pissant, even uses the exact wording of Gramsci:
Cultural hegemony is the philosophic and sociological concept, originated by the Marxist philosopher Antonio Gramsci, that a culturally-diverse society can be ruled or dominated by one of its social classes. It is the dominance of one social group over another, e.g. the ruling class over all other classes. The theory claims that the ideas of the ruling class come to be seen as the norm; they are seen as universal ideologies, perceived to benefit everyone whilst only really benefiting the ruling class.
