I haven’t heard that yet but I did talk to a guy who said he shot up ice water to get a rush when he couldn’t get anything else.
I will admit I have had some problems with things in the past but I have never needed a high so bad that I would do anything to get it!

Part of the Liberal Disease destroying America:

When they came up with the idea of prohibiting and criminalizing things instead of unethical, immoral, harmful and inhumane behavior.

Yes. Dope dealers are packaging unscheduled drugs as “bath salts”, “plant food”, “insence”, and “room oderizers” then letting dopers know that such-and-such type of “plant food” is actually an unscheduled and untested THC analog, or is an amphetamine-like stimulant, or hallucinogen.

They are for sale in “head shops”, smoke shops, and some convenience stores. Like a normal person would pay a twenty for a little packet of “bath salts” that says Not For Human Consumption.

“Unscheduled” means that DEA has not yet added that specific chemical to the list of banned ones.

Most of these dealers put “not for human consumption” on the package, but a bit of web research tells you how to take it, how much, what effects, and so forth.

This is leading up to a huge crackdown, look up “operation web tryp” to see when the last one was.

That’s an interesting question about being genetically devoid of responsibility. Is it your contention that they are genetically that way and therefore don’t need to take responsibility for their actions, in fact are totally incapable of doing so?

If so then take it a few steps further if they aren’t responsible for ANYTHING that they do then at what point is it the responsibility of those in our society who are genetically capable of taking responsibility for their own actions. And what should be the actions of those who accept responsibility on those who genetically can’t.

It is a terrifying thought that those who can be responsible citizens would have to cull those who can’t from the gene pool. I don’t mean killing them but removing the capacity for passing those defective genes onto future generations.

What are your thoughts on that? Do you still want to contend that they are genetically incapable of accepting responsibility or maybe that they have not been made to by those who had the primary responsibility of raising them to maturity.

And yes I DO believe that there are such people born who are genetically incapable of accepting responsibility for their actions. We used to say that they were born without a soul. Today we use various diagnosis of psychosis, schizophrenia or personality disorders.

In any case I am glad that you do ask such questions. This forum allows us to discuss them and I am grateful for that.

Why put salt in your bath, isn’t soap better? These bath salts are now being used as “smelling salts” so to speak. Just don’t ban sea salt, please.

“It is a terrifying thought that those who can be responsible citizens would have to cull those who can’t from the gene pool.”

I think that was the role of the Morlocks vs the Eloi.

Morlocks and Eloi, hmmm.

Not quite what I would have chosen for examples. Do you have something else?

The Time Machine is what popped up.

Perhaps Sanger and the eugenics movement, where Margaret proposed to Truman that genetic defectives (feebleminded and other People In Need Of Supervision) would be put in camps and sterilized, and only let out if they could show some worth to the Rest Of Us Normal Folks?

I remember that. Do you remember the Marching Moron Theory? The one where the morons would overpopulate themselves because the more intelligent were to busy working to reproduce at the same rate. Or perhaps decided that one of two children were ‘enough’.

We discussed that when I was back in college. One of my classmates argued that it would only come to pass if the ‘morons’ were subsidized. Otherwise they too would have to work to hard to feed and shelter themselves to have the energy or resources to procreate.

I would say that we are well on our way as we keep subsidizing them. Only today we call them ‘democrats’ not morons. (A little tongue in cheek there.)

Well, I should've labeled my comment sarcastic then. When I said "genetically devoid of responsibility" I was speaking slightly facetiously. I meant lack of 'responsibility' appears to be endemic in our society these days. For instance, it appears that people are being raised to rely on the gov't for their paycheck with no possible recourse.....IE "I get my SSI check every month, that pays fro my Crystal Palace."

I know my grandparents would've been too proud to think of drawing any gov't welfare. I still would feel ashamed to have to draw a gov't welfare check, if I had too.

An easy life is expected by a large portion of the population.....thats kind of what I was inferring with my sarcastic statement......

We desperately need to get the government out of all food and drug issues.

I’m sure that motor oil is harmful if consumed too, will they outlaw it next?

>> “I would hate for the gov to make breakfast illegal.” <<

.
They’re trying to make a healthy breakfast illegal.

Bacon and eggs is close to the healthiest hot breakfast there is, but the government wants to stuff us full of heart attack generating grains and carbohydrates.
