Ed Schultz would like to be more civil. Really, he would. It's just that those reprehensible Republicans, by failing to agree with him, force poor Ed to advocate things like ripping out Dick Cheney's heart.
That was the Schultz's oft-repeated theme on his MSNBC show this evening.

Republican devil makes Ed Schultz do it. Ping to Today show list.
If we watch the video, do we double his viewership?
Hey Schultz: our devil has a name and it’s Allah. Twist that up in your panties and cry about divisive comments.
You really wonder if in the aftermath of the shooting by the 911 truther last weekend, NBC is considering whether they should be running such a hateful network as MSNBC. I would think there may be some potential liability associated with airing that trash, if the acts of someone like this guy Fuller or even Loughner could be traced to them.
Ed shot his own dog.
Is Ed a lucid dream fan too?
James Eric Fuller, 63, who was shot in the knee, had told The Post on Friday, the day before his arrest, that top Republican figures should be tortured -- and their ears severed.
"There would be torture and then an ear necklace, with [Minnesota US Rep.] Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin's ears toward the end, because they're small, female ears, and then Limbaugh, Hannity and the biggest ears of all, Cheney's, in the center," Fuller said.
Also on Friday, Fuller stopped by the home of gunman Jared Lee Loughner and told a neighbor he was going to forgive the shooter, The Associated Press said.
No there not considering it at all. However, when Comcast takes them over, I think they will consider it.
shot his dog and beat his first wife.
IIRC, Fuller was a Vietnam Vet. One of the troop “jokes” in those days was about “Cong Ear” necklaces. Update the Viet Cong to Republican ears as set out by Fuller and you get the idea. I remember that from back in the day, but hadn’t thought of it in 35-40 years. Obviously, some aspects of that era were never far from Fuller’s ‘mind.’
I think “Ed Who?” gets more publicity from Free Republic than anyone else.
If that's wrong, someone pipe up and slap me upside the head. I'm just wondering if anything this nut says has any credibility.
One thing I find curious about Fuller is that we’re told he’s been a fully disabled drifter for decades, has worked as a petition signature collector, and Census taker, odd low-paying jobs like that, but lives in a mighty nice house.
Real estate in Tucson may not be SF or NYC, but you don’t have a house like the one pictured as his home when you are living on disability and a census takers part time salary. Nothing adds up.
No thanks. Why would anyone watch this dufus?
There’s a possible entertainment factor, depending on how you view it ;-)
