I call him a terrorist anyway, anytime a person goes out to randomly kill as many people as possible (which seems to be the case, he may have had a primary target but otherwise seemed to be shooting targets of convenience) that seems to me to fit the definition of terrorism as well as mass murder or you could call him a serial killer who simply has a very short interval time between killings. Rifle Scopes have crosshairs but only those ignorant of what is seen looking through a telescopic sight would imagine that what Palin used represents a rifle scope. I don’t know about the map markers but they look EXACTLY like what are called register marks on offset printing plates. These marks are used to align images.

Only someone with zero knowledge of actual telescopic sights would imagine the crosshairs extending outside the circle or a frosted appearance inside the circle and crosshairs are not usually simple intersecting lines of the same exact size from one side of the circle to another.

On the other hand the bullseye figure used by the Democrats for the same purpose is well within the parameters of a normal bullseye target. Of course that is okay because they are Democrats, had they wished to use actual telescopic sight crosshair images that would have been okay because they are Democrats and their targets are Republicans.
