If Lugar loses in primary, he is DONE. Indiana has a sore loser law which prevents him from running after the primary.

And we all know what kind of people vote in primaries!
I wonder if he has any idea what is coming his way!

As we learned in Alaska in 2010, sore-loser laws merely prevent primary losers from running on another party’s line or as an independent, not from running a write-in campaign.

As for who should challenge Lugar (and I agree that it’s a question of who should challenge him, not if we should challenge him), I just hope that it’s one candidate, not two or three of them. If two conservatives challenge Lugar he will slide by easily.
