As I stated numerous times before, I do not believe what we hold as logical, can be applied to these subjects.

So you oppose them for no reason? Or do you not oppose them at all?
If it is ok for them, then it should be fine right?
No moral absolutes.

But you can’t judge them as wrong.
Their “absolutes” could be different from yours,
and neither yours nor theirs could be judged as
“better” or “worse” without an objective, external, and absolute standard to refer to.
You make yourself into a moral cretin with this worldview.

I oppose them because that is the way I am. People still have to obey laws, even if they think it’s ok to do something illegal, don’t they?

Thank you so much for the ping to this engaging essay!
To: MrB
I don’t judge them at all. That is why we have laws.

Seems weve done what is required...
John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"
Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

I believe God is capable of anything, so it can be multiple ways...just depends on what He has planned for you. Can this GOD you imagine use CONFLICTING ways to accomplish his ends?

Obviously, I believe it can be both. "Pete; it's a fool that looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart."

Of course, but if what I believe counters the Bible then it is not from God. You'd make a poor MORMON!

It’s never been much of an issue with me. I can see how it would be ok in some instances.

I don’t believe that God sees things the same way we do. What we may conceive of as a conflict, may not be to Him. I think we are very limited in knowing the ways of God.

Do you consider yourself a libertarian, then?
