It’s easy to say that ‘X’ number of Americans will be adversely affected by the cuts. What they fail to mention though, is that “ALL” Americans will be adversely impacted if they don’t make the cuts.

Stuff like that would save all we need to save and would not affect any police or fire department or the armed forces.
We all know that if you cut the DOD 10%, all that would happen is that they would have to pay Lowe’s prices for hammers and toilet seats instead of $700 each.
I did not even attempt to talley the costs of bank bailouts, etc.
And each Federal employee you shed saves as much money as it costs to support a half dozen people on disability as well as a couple of others on food stamps. Well paid Federal employees should be the first thing we shed, not the last.
