Great move for the conservatives in the house. Now if the dems don't play ball they can blame the shut down of the government on the democrats, and Harry.
They have Harry by the u know what and he is squirming.

Reid pokesman Jon Summers on Wednesday characterized McConnell as declaring repeal could pass the Senate. Summers called that "unlikely." So, let them vote against it.
Then pass it again. And make them vote against it again.
They'll be slitting their own throats.

I know...I got a couple of Senators from Georgia that are running very close to the 'forget them' edge for my taste. If they don't get some balls quick, I'm gonna primary both (if I live that long), and then as a last resort vote against them.
I'd rather have a sumbitch up there whose 'colors' I know than a damned spineless snake in the grass twitchin' his tongue to catch a taste of the prevailing political wind. IOW ....NO MORE McCAIN VOTER GUILT FOR ME - NO SIR!!!

Here's the deal, Harry.
You want an increase in the debt ceiling? Fine. You get one for 6 months. The price is the total repeal of Obamacare. And that means the repeal is passed in the Senate and signed by the President.
Then you get your debt increase.

The GOP house should deem it to never have passed to begin with.

I know, I know...
But McConnell is going to be very surprised when it’s his name, too, on the signs at the rallies if he doesn’t do it.

If I was in the budget committee for the House, I’d defund all DoD executive transport funding for non-military personnel.....for starters to get the ball rolling with what you said.

albeit with at least a 60-vote threshold.
Does McConnell really think he can get enough Democrats for a 60 vote threshold? I would doubt that but maybe he knows something about how some of the ‘crats would vote.

So, let them vote against it. Then pass it again. And make them vote against it again.
The point is:
"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who controls the Senate floor schedule, has said he will not bring the repeal up."
If it's not brought to the floor for a vote, then no one can vote for or against it. That's why McConnell wants to embed it in an already popular primary bill would pass on its own merits.

Dingy harry and 0bambi between a rock and a hard place....
1. Attach repeal to both continuing motion and the debt limit....
2. Make it for 1 month only so has to be re-visited...
3. repeat 1 and 2
enjoy dims heads exploding.
