Even NCIS has had some snarky comments about Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin. I feel that Shane Brennan has ruined that show. The characters look the same, but they don't sound or act the same. I suspected we'd feel the loss when Donald Bellasario left the show, and it has become glaring.
I was going to try to find links for the Limbaugh and Palin smears and found that the ever-vigilant Freepers
have already addressed this.
Just this week, on a new show,
"Harry's Law", Rush got sandbagged again.

Re: Harry's Law. To be fair, anyone watching any show produced/written by David E. Kelley needs to expect slanders of anything conservative.
It's like Kelley puts his slurs in place first, then wraps his script around the slurs.
Here's to a quick end to Harry's Law.

I told my wife that this past Tuesday's episode, which was a plea for tolerance of gays, was the last one. The show is as dead to me. I don't know if the downturn is due to Shane Brennan or Mark Harmon. Brennan also produces NCIS Los Angeles, and it has become a better show than the original. They actually still battle mideast terrorists on that show.
I remember reading that Harmon pushed to get rid of Bellisario, and Harmon is listed as a producer. Brennan is still the Executive Producer, but I wonder if Harmon is leading the show to a more leftward slant.
Last year we had the "plea for Muslim tolerance" episode, and an episode in which Tony and Ziva broke into a building and Ziva wondered aloud "if we are any better than the terrorists".

Well, Harry’s Law does have Mrs. Misery in it and she’s a long-time snarker. She even did a nasty parody of Rush in the middle of ‘The Stand’.
