Virginia Ironside-Touts Her “Miserable Promiscuity” as Trail Blazing for Girls Today

Remember Virginia Ironside? The British advice guru who believes that mothers should be able to smother their “suffering” babies with pillows? Well, she’s back, with a recent piece on Mail Online, touting her youthful service as a veritable Moses on the front lines of the sexual revolution, “clearing our way through the sexual undergrowth” toward the promised land of consequence-free sexual freedom for future generations.

Because when it came to sex, we were, of course, the trailblazers for a completely new attitude, and blazing trails is always horribly uncomfortable. We were the ones with the hacksaws and dust masks, clearing our way through the sexual undergrowth, getting covered with scratches and gashes and slipping into invisible swamps. It’s the people who follow afterwards who have the easier time, sauntering along the trodden path, picking roses along the way. Young people today.

The question is, what exactly was it that Ironside and her comrades so recklessly discarded with those dust masks and hacksaws?

A few months back Glenn Beck showed a clip of her saying that a “good mother” would abort a child.

Sounds sick to me.

As a child of the late sixties myself I have a message for her. The sexual revolution is over. We lost.

We view these things as one issue, but this attitude is part of a larger, Anticompetitive Evolutionary psychology. Children, exposed to harshness in their early years, will have switches thrown in their brain which will alter their development for the rest of their life. A decade later, they will enter puberty earlier, and their psychology will shift to one which is increasingly selfish, disloyal, prone to depersonalize those around them, including mates, highly promiscuous, and which will even denigrate masculinity. The idea is, a child exposed to harshness, will adjust their psychology to embrace what is called an “r selective” mating strategy, designed to desperately produce as many children as possible, as early as possible, by as many mates as possible, in the hopes a few offspring will survive to repeat the process, all while selfishly looking out for themselves above all else. I view it as a defective specimen hoping to produce as many offspring as possible, in the hopes a couple may survive despite their defectiveness, and repeat the process. Below is the seminal paper on the process.

Liberalism is an Evolutionary Psychology designed to give the uncompetitive specimen advantage within our Competitive species.
