The designer, Alexander McQueen, claimed Lady Gaga as his fashion muse. Lady Gaga's bizarre clothing has been almost exclusively designed for her by McQueen. I think this McQueen-designed outfit Lady Gaga wore to last year's Video Music awards would have been a much better choice for the First Frump. She could still be dressed entirely in red, and we wouldn't have to look at her face...

Fugly! You're right. But the gown's not bad.

The gown was designed that way, not so much unfortunately that is doesn't look like it slipped-off her shoulder.
I think that the gown is lovely, though, and it suits the wearer well both in color and design.
