If there's a speck of truth in this it has to be based on “government” job growth as well as “jobs saved” through the stimulus plans, plans that are not going to be renewed.

Given the fiscal conservatism of the new Congress, it's understood there will be no more state and federal “jobs saved” through more porkulous spending. It was pretty much inevitable that a press release like this would appear before the house of cards began to collapse. That collapse seems not just inevitable but also imminent.

The more “uncivil” ridicule, heckling, and outright laughter over this statement the better. That's probably the reason the regime issued this statement on a Friday.

I did read the comments on that site and it's hilarious! How can the unemployment rate go from around 5% to close to 10% and yet still somehow Obama's economy creates more jobs? I think there should be mandatory drug tests for anyone who posts over there!

Yep, 113,000 divided by 0.004 would imply that the labor force in this country is about 28,250,000, and we know it is much higher than that. So to get the unemployment rate down with that few new jobs, people must be dropping out of the labor force in droves.
