So stations have to add a seperate tank and pumps just for this? What a waste of resources...

Redline out the EPA in the next budget.

That’s not going to be good for my motorcycle’s gas tank.

Time to defund and dissolve the EPA.

Well, it was time to do that a long time ago, but no time like the present, hmmmm?

I don't care how many bureaucrats it puts out of work - these creeps have done far too much damage to the private sector.

It makes you wonder whether the EPA is purposely trying to destroy all of the older vehicles so that more of these electric buggies will be sold.

We live in a windy area in the prairies.
We have children.
Minivans shake too much in the wind for my wife's comfort.
We go on long trips to see family in both western Canada and New England.
We are on a very tight budget.
The best car for our needs is a full-size station wagon, the kind that are no longer made.

BUT ...

We live in corn growing country.
In the ONLY state in the region that kept big Democrat majorities.
Whose Republican party is happy to play along with the Dem parties in exchange for a place at the trough.

It shouldn't surprise anybody that half the stations around here have E-85 pumps.
If E-15 becomes the only alternative, my poor 1994 Chevy Caprice V-8 engine is doomed to untimely death.

Question number one: Ruin them.
Statement number 1: Don’t expect much, if anything, from Boehner and you won’t be disappointed.

And to think Obama wrote an op-ed in the WSJ about how we need to get rid of bad regulations just THREE DAYS AGO!:

188,000 marinas have refused to sell 15% corn juice... just say no to any ethanol... it kills our economy... it kills our energy independence and it destroys our food supplies.

Regulating the environment is not an enumerated power granted to Congress in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution! The EPA is unconstitutional and must be abolished!

So how do I find gas for my cars manufactured before 2001? I have 2 including a 1966 Mustang. A lot of the gas stations don’t really know what blend they are selling. Will there be warnings on the pump that the s#!+ they’re selling will wreck your motor?

CH3CH2OH is for drinking, not for running and destroying engines.

Conventional gasoline
RBOB gasoline
CARBOB gasoline
10 percent blended gasoline
15 percent blended gasoline

What could go wrong ?

I think this may be WORSE than a bad idea. I’ve already posted (some time ago) the disaster to my boat engine caused by this garbage fuel, and something just jumped out at me.
I drive a 1991 Olds Vista Cruiser, a station wagon about as big as the town I live in. I’ve been having rough running and some stalling problems on a car very good mechanics insist has NO problems at all.
In this article, I noticed there are actual DATES for which this junk is okayed by the EPA.
Any other owners of really good older cars having any problems that could be traced to this mandated crap being put into the engine?
The now needed special STABILIZERS cured my boat engine, and I’m wondering if it could help an automobile (Older one)

Bad idea. 15% damages the fuel pumps that dispense the fuel. It damages small engines by welding the piston rings to the pistons due to higher burning temperature. It is hygroscopic, so it attracts water into the fuel. That causes frozen fuel lines and "jellied" fuel in cold climates. It reduces power and mileage. Frankly, there isn't a single benefit to anyone forced to use it. It only financially benefits a few farmers and federally subsidized ethanol producers. Typical leftist government BS being jammed down our throats.

I'm personally very concerned about potential damage to my motorcycle engines. Perhaps we should all retain attorneys and file 200 million individual lawsuits against the EPA.

Gee, the EPA wouldn’t want to kill off older cars, would it?

Working class get cash for clunkers kick to the head.
EPA now destroying what old cars they have.

Further, mileage goes down, cost of driving goes up and you have to buy more gallons of gas=more federal fuel taxes.

Wrong... even flex fuel vehicles are being damaged by ethanol... talk to your mechanic at your dealership and ask him about it.

Don’t mention O2 sensors to me. This spawn of Satan ethanol has fried my sensors. My 1999 Toyota has it’s catalytic converter(sp) and sensors as a single, sealed unit. Can’t replace one without replacing the whole d@amnned thing. Looking at an expensive trip to the dealership.

I HATE ethanol and the DemocRATS that think this crap somehow helps the environment. All it does is drive up the cost of food. Stupid SOB’s.

You know, this past summer here in MA, there was a spate of car fires, mainly older ones, and boat engine fires.

Why they happened is still a mystery.

Don’t really matter about older cars in this state, our esteemed governor allowed emission standards to be modified a couple of years ago. My 96 Cadoo was rejected.

We went from 5 to 10% ethanol with some low price outlets selling the 15%. If you put some in by accident, driving is an underpowering experience.

A few years ago I found a station in NH, CITGO, selling ethanol free gas, filling my Bonneville with that was VERY nice.
