Gingrich finally lost me when he whined about being slighted about his seating on Clinton's Air Force One. He should have kept his mouth shut and got back at Bill the old-fashioned way -- killing some favored legislation.
No, it was all about Newt.

As I see it, being smart has nothing to do with sitting next to Pelosi. Sitting with Pelosi was a political position which had nothing to do with brain structure.

Newt vs. 0bama = Newt gets my vote. Otherwise... Really? I'm way past that point. Under those conditions Newt still would not get my vote... and of course neither would Obama.

I remember him talking about this back when I was in college.
I also remember him talking about this when I was in high school, its a publicity stunt.
He's like the boy who cried wolf, only he cries "Maybe I'll run for prez.".
Keep in mind, he has also played around publicly with running for mayor and governor, in spite of having never had any intention to do either......
Especially when Spitzer ran, he drummed up the publicity big time, then endorsed a check for Spitzer (turned out him and Spitzers dad, were friends from way back, he just liked having the press around him).
