A key House Republican is quickly pressing forward with her goals to scale back U.S. funding for the United Nations.
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told The Hill that oversight would be a key function of the panel, particularly funding to the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) that is "a waste of taxpayer dollars."

Now that we know who the rats are - the Democrats and RINOS, we can start targeting them and relentlessly exposing them for what they are. We need some Samuel Adams of our day to relentlessly go after the enemies of freedom. We now know that the RINOS are just wolves in sheeps clothing, they call themselves conservatives when it suits their selfish purposes but they only want to get close to us in order to subvert the conservative message. They have been playing this game for decades, enough people have caught on to this that we can do something about it. Another thing, the Democrats were the dominant party for seventy years since FDR. I think that era is finally coming to an end.
The Democrats and RINOS hit the conservatives with a one-two punch each side attacking the conservatives. The RINOS were the false friends while the Democrats were the enemy. Now I believe that Americans are finally getting the understanding that big centralized government is against the good of the people. If today’s conservatives start hammering away at the UN, eventually we will get out.
Remember, years ago, it was revealed that all our donations ever did was sit on the piers in Ethiopia, until the troops came by to steal the grain. Similar to donating to the RNC, we can’t control what happens to our money once it leaves our accounts. We should just donate to credible relief orgs and let the UN learn to live on a budget.

History hints that while international bodies do erode sovereignty, they do serve as a brake to those looking to start major wars.
In Canada, we managed to get ourselves off the security council with the UN, it’s a start heh. The country was in an uproar, and I said, hey, it’s a good thing. Heck, lets do one better and get right out of the UN altogether, and while we’re at it, relocate them to Kenya.
All the more reason to tell this bunch of high rolling freeloaders moved out to Euro or African pastures. Americans would benefit immensely.
The last time we did have control of them the subject was never brought forth to the table.....because the fools in charge believed that Islam is the religion of peace.
It is all insane. And we have to watch the GOP hold hands with the PROGRESSIVES. McCain is calling for no up down up down applause BS then out of the other end of his mouth he praises Obama’s Az. speech. Obama teleprompts ONE Speech that is not progressive attack and campaigning and the PC BS all comes back. They are all making 6 figures and MANY are laid off and we have to watch the dog and pony show.

I take that back Obama’s Az. speech was progressive campaigning it was just slick willy fake moderacy politics with the t-shirts and unity BS.
The current choice for legislative candidates is lawyers who cannot earn a comfortable living working in the Courts and we see the corruption that has resulted from them. Perhaps there is something about needing more combat veterans in our government positions.
The criminals in this situation are the senior members of both parties in the Congress and Senate. They have accepted as their goal, establishing a NWO and having the United Nations as the center of authority.
I cannot comprehend how someone with free personal liberty would voluntarily become a slave. This bureaucratic collectivist one-world government has been the dream of many since the inception of the League of Nations and world peace. When the League of Nations collapsed the United Nations was proposed in 1945 as the replacement. The Charter of the United Nations in no way, shape or form grants individuals the liberty they have under the US Constitution.

Current Communist Goals
EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA
IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
Thursday, January 10, 1963
As you read this, 47years later, you should be shocked by the events that have played themselves out.
Here’s a partial list. I put GOAL #15 first, for obvious reasons:
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc
Anyone else recognize liberal Progressivism in all this? Sounds like the complete Democrat Party platform!
I can list several instances of every number listed above happening in American society being spear-headed with a thrust of Cultural Marxism disguised as Political Correctness.
